Bumble - Meet New People App Description

Over 45 million people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behaviour. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATE, MEET FRIENDS, NETWORK Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: Bumble Date: On Bumble Date, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use, and that will never change for our main features. However, if you’re looking to get the most from Bumble, you can subscribe to our optional subscription product Bumble Boost. We offer weekly, monthly, 3 month and 6 month subscriptions giving discounts to the weekly price. The prices may vary per country and are subject to change without notice. Prices are clearly displayed in the app. * Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. * Your subscription will automatically renew itself, unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. * Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. * You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings in the iTunes Store. * If offered, if you choose to use our free trial, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that publication, where applicable * If you don’t choose to purchase Bumble Boost, you can simply continue using and enjoying Bumble for free. • Worst website

I found barely one or two people in my area within a ten year age range. I complained to bumble who only thought that it was ok to go the length and breadth of the country to have a date. It’s just an expensive version of tinder. Don’t bother

I live in manchester a big city, so why is there never anyone in manchester to match with? I set my mile radius and this app just ignores me and sends me people from Yorkshire and Leeds??? I don’t want to be driving 60+ miles there and back to meet someone off an app? What is going on also your subscription service someone needs to get involved absolute daylight robbery the whole concept. Poor app

I’ve been using this app for 2 months as a paid subscription and I’m constantly seeing the same profiles over and over again, some maybe 6-8 times in that period. It’s tiresome and inefficient.
  • The paid service is just a lie

As a free dating app this is pretty good. But don’t be in anyway be tempted with the paid service. It’s all basically a lie. None of the functions they claim you get work. In fact you can’t even do the stuff they claim is extra. DO NOT PAY FOR IT. Stick with the free service. My rating is based on the paid service. Addition - this is full of fake developer profiles that reach out to you to trick you into the paid service. 6 of the profiles that matched me on tinder and never replied have done the same on Bumble? Coincidence. Others have matched up with me and your respond with 10 minutes and they never reply or suddenly put their profile to sleep. It’s an American thing so in UK time guess what all these profiles go to sleep. I’ve not had one date off this website or even one meaningful chat. None / zip / zero however I get loads of likes and matches. Stick to Tinder. It may be full of fake profiles but there’s the odd genuine person. Had miles more dates from it. Bumble is full of developer fake accounts / profiles.

Don’t download this, I’ve been using this for a while now and I haven’t had a single match or nothing, complete waste of time
  • BFF mode is not LGBT+ friendly

You are stuck with only being able to chat to people of your gender when using BFF mode. So we can’t ever be friends of the opposite gender?!? What if someone is gay, or bi, or anything that does not sit into gender norms?? I guess no cross-gender friends for us 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also, for people who are straight/cis gender, they can’t have opposite gender friends either?!? Bumble please rethink this! It’s restrictive for many of your members.
  • False Display of red notification next to app

I am sick of seeing the red notification next to the bumble app then opening the app and there is nothing there. No match or message. Absolute joke. Clearly bumble are doing this on purpose hoping people open the app and have a swipe. Also sick of matching with girls and them not even starting a conversation. Bumble is fast becoming Full of fake profiles or girls after an ego boost.
  • Functionality

It is not very clear how Bumble functions. There aren’t enough instructions in the app itself and a Google search has not revealed much. Help🤔
  • A big con.

Paid service is an ongoing cost for every little thing you wish to do. It never stops. Save your money on a site with real people.
  • Update me to v2.0

Like the app but seeing as no one connects with me I think it’s me that needs an upgrade 😰
