  • Great, but where’s CarPlay?

Handy app but hoping for CarPlay in a future update
  • Great asset to any trip

We have been using this app for sometime and have found it invaluable especially when in the outback. Definitely a necessity when tripping around this big country.
  • A Good App that has been let down

    By EffieC911
This is and was a great app which used to have great back up with updates provided, unfortunately this has failed later due to the map back ups being outsourced to third party who of course what’s to be paid for everything app has now gone downhill so much for paying a fair bit of money for the initial app
  • Rubbish

All this app is is a offline map, $100 for junk you could get for free
  • Cannot trust this app

Although marked on the map, I have been turned around 3 times and the last 3 weeks. Dead end roads and tracks are not marked. I even ended up in some guys yard patting his cows just trying to get home. I now have to use google maps to plot my route and confirm that the app of $100 hasn’t made yet another mistake and turn the car around. Also I know of many of tracks around my area that only council can access because of locked gates, yet Hema has put it on their maps with no indication showing otherwise. This will ruin people’s holidays
  • Get memory map instead....

    By Ross Lettau
It’s a real shame, as the core app itself is good but suffers from lack of updates for over two years. The app doesn’t work full screen on iPhone X or above, or on new tablets and is laggy when scrolling. Save yourself $100 and get memory map instead, and purchase the maps you need through the memory map digital store.
  • Better free ones out there

I might be missing something but I don’t get much out of this app at all. Sure it’s an electronic version of a good map and you can drop pins etc but so do plenty of other map apps. I don’t think this is worth $100. On a recent trip from Millicent to robe along the well used beach tracks it hardly logged, and drew straight lines between points where the phone popped up into reception. I thought it was somehow doing a better job of logging in the background. If you stay within phone range then maybe it works better, but then ...google maps, google earth etc.... Like I said, I don’t get the point of this app
  • Useful but needs updating

    By Ecogeek2011
The app uses a number of maps provided by 3rd parties which are frequently very dated. A number of national parks in WA are especially dated. Not showing current roads. The app also did not show below sea level height at Lake Eyre. The app would greatly benefit from user provided current tracks even frequency of use. Having said all this was invaluable and in use all the time with a lot of map switching all across Australia and up the cape. Full screen display on the newer devices would also be useful.
  • Absolutely brilliant

We’ve traveled right round this beautiful country, and then some, and this app has proved invaluable. Very accurate in finding those hidden gems. Highly recommended.
  • Not what it used to be

    By Louie 100
This app was good a couple of years ago but is disappointing to see that it has become less reliable and more maps are disappearing, the detail in some of the maps is extremely lacking and if you want more detail you are urged to buy another pack from Memory Maps for an exorbitant price.
