I love the variety and abundance of tools this app provides, which leads to me spending hours on a photo, but the really f$cking annoying part is the app tends to glitch or kick me out after being on it for a while, and hours of work put into a photo are erased.👎 please fix this. Very frustrating.

This used to be my favorite editing app and I’ve recommended it to so many people, but I am definitely not willing to pay a monthly subscription, specially after I already payed for pro tools before this ridiculous update. A flat rate was fair and reasonable. Deleting it right now. Lost a costumer and probably will be losing many more.

I recommend this app because it has SO many filters as options and you don't need to pay to have the good filters!! Most apps only give you a few and you pay for the rest, but no need to pay here for nice filters! Also, besides the filters, they have other awesome settings which will help enhance your photographs! As an amateur photographer, this has helped me improve my photographs on looks! Please support my photography account on Instagram @britneys.photography ! All the love, B.
  • Monthly forever Subscription/Conscription pricing, now!

Update. From a user standpoint, a monthly “rent-a software” subscription/“CONscription” model isn't long-term sustainable to the user, either. This app is dead to me, now! Not happy. Won’t be updating my current version of Polarr. Charge enough of a flat price up front where you know you will be able to continue to supoort and develop this app. I may even delete Polarr if my already in-app purchased features on the previous version aren't allowed to keep working. You lost a customer today. I am sure I will not be the only one to drop using Polarr with this move. To bad, I had been thinking about adding the Mac version, but no longer. A flat rate price apps and app development not sustainable, hmmm.... Says you! Other flat rate app developers appear to be doing just fine and releasing pretty great updates. Not updating my older Polarr app and if my version of this apps stops working, will be deleting. Not interested in perpetual paying subscription apps and I suspect many end users beside me will probably feel the same way. Polarr’s future days will be numbered with this subscription strategy. Many users, like me, started dropping Adobe and Autodesk and looked to cheaper, flat rate alternatives when the whole subscription/conscription, rent-a-software strategy started with these software companies. I am done. I'll continue to use the older version of Polarr on my iPad Pro and older iPads and might delete/remove this new version from my iPod Touch. Good Luck! You'll need it! If more popular apps start going monthly/weekly subscription pricing, there is going to be lots of negative backlash from the iOS user community/base on this. I was annoyed and upset when Astropad did this subscription manuever, too! And I, initially, paid the $49 they were asking for Astropad, when it was first introduced, too!
