Hi, I paid for this app before the subscription model was in place. Now I cannot use the app without being spammed by invitation to pay for a subscription. This isn’t right and people who paid for the app should be able to enjoy the app like it was before without all these interstitials! Very disappointing!
  • Simple, effective and elegant.

In an effort to be more productive I set up a great DBTC/GTD/project management system using WorkFlowy. My work necessitates use of a calendar for appointments with groups of people to accept and send invites. But when it came to scheduling daily, weekly, monthly tasks reminders on my iPhone; I hit a snag. If I used iOS reminders, since it is synced with my calendar when I tell Siri to remind me of something, my work calendar would be littered with these repeating reminders and what I needed to focus on would be lost in the clutter. Plus iOS Reminders just doesn’t work well as a DBTC solution if I used a second calendar just for this. Thus, Productive to the rescue. It’s well designed visually. It is effective, has powerful scheduling and is perfect for the DBTC methodology (Don’t Break The Chain - Jerry Seinfeld). If even had a calendar chain of you completed days. The “More Stats” each task has quickly become an essential motivator that I did not expect as it is automatically collated for me. It’s nice to see progress without the mental math involved to review the week & month. And the on screen phone notifications are easy to handle and complete one by one. I’ve also severely limited the notifications allowed on my iPhone to become more focused. It would be nice if there was a description field for each task to expand on the name field. For now I just enter in a task when I completed the first occurrence that I can check back on when needed. Also, would be nice if links were made clickable and open in a web browser. I put a link in a task note that goes to a web page of customer orders to check on delivery statuses twice a day. I have to copy the link and paste it. A unique case scenario I’m sure, but would still like to provide that feedback. But it is not the purpose of the app so NO lost star rating for it.

I feel like this app has a great concept, but is too pushy to get you to buy premium, seriously only two reminders? In my opinion it should be at least 5. Also life hack use the alarm to remind yourself.
  • So useful!

I find this app highly motivating to help me establish new habits in my life. I love the simplicity of the design. This app has literally helped save my life. I’m a recovering drug addict, who lived for years practicing unhealthy habits. As a part of my program of recovery, I began to utilize your app to teach myself how to practice healthy habits. I made a list of ten things that I was going to try and do every day and entered them into the app. While I can’t say that I’ve completed all of them every day, I can say that I’ve completed at least 90% of them every day. Out of the past 28 days, I’ve performed all ten habits on 24 days. Those healthy habits have gone a long way to helping me stay clean for the last month. Many people, who I share my experience with about using your app, ask what ten habits do I try to do every day. I’ll refrain from sharing that list, because I believe the habits we choose to shape our lives are personal. By using your app, I’ve come to realize that some things in my life are nonnegotiable, such as, staying clean. Thank you.

It seems like a great app but i’m not paying like $25 a year for a reminder. It would be really helpful but that’s way too expensive. Only having 3 reminders is a joke. This is a total rip off. I would totally use the app if it didn’t cost that much money.

This is a really nice app to keep organized but I wold like there to be the option to do thing like.. remind me ( every other day ) and remind me ones ( every 3 weeks ) Or things like that. Other than that I would highly recommend this app!!

I use this app daily, and I do see how it is helping me be more productive. However, they’re a bit cheeky when it comes to adding a habit. Supposably, you are allowed to have five free habits, which for a long time, I did. I myself whittled it down and then up and down again over time, and it wasn’t a problem. Until this past month. Now, I have three and want to add, but whenever I try to add one to the three I currently have, it takes me to a page that only gives me the option to pay for unlimited habits. I have looked all over the entire app repeatedly, and there is no option to add a habit any other way then to pull down, and when I do, as I said, it gives me no option but to add a free habit. I contacted support on this, and here was the reply (no explanation, no apology, no offer to restore my original 5 habit allowance): Hello Lily, Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately some users might indeed have only 3 free habits in the free version. Thank you for using our app. Best regards, Natallia (Addendum: as for developer’s response to this review seen below, they clearly misread my review. I was getting 5 free habits for several months, and suddenly & randomly, those 5 free were limited down to 3. Nowhere in the free version did it indicate that this would happen after several months, mind you, not after a one free month trial. I am currently in touch with Apalon support, and twice now, they’ve admitted responsibility, acknowledging that the issue was within the app dysfunction. But it took many back and forth emails to get to this point. And now, I see the reply below.)
