Apollo for Reddit App Reviews

  • It’s neat

    By awsewedwesaswews
I absolutely prefer the UI in Apollo over the Reddit app, but Apollo is a little buggy. From what I understand, it’s just one dude in his spare time so hats off to you sir and thanks for Apollo. I really do love it! I’d still recommend the smartly designed and user friendly Apollo over the clunky and unappealing design of the Reddit app.
  • Best reddit app there is. Period.

I love this app so much I’m leaving a review to show support.
  • Loses your place

    By tessacolleen
If you swipe out of the subreddit on accident, it will take you back to the top when you return. That’s too frustrating to use. I was liking it until that happened too many times.
  • Reddit via Apollo

    By KiloDeltaFoxtrot
Having used Apollo since it’s earliest days, I’ve witnessed it become the best Reddit client available for everyday users. Apollo has everything one might need for a good ol’ time with friends of Snoo.

  • Locking pro users out of features with in app purchases

Relay for reddit does free notifications stop scamming people who already paid for your app.
  • Absolutely Amazing

    The title says it all
  • Decent app

But locking features behind paid subscription Apollo Pro and then later releasing higher tier subscription Apollo Ultra with more features seems scummy.
  • Responsive, Premium Reddit Experience!

    By BluTundra
This app is the real deal for Reddit browsers. It’s got great features for those that post, but it’s great for lurkers too. Things like progression bars on gifs and link previews in comments real up the quality and predictability of your experience. By far though, the app developer is the reason to support. He fixes bugs reported on his subreddit quickly, and then lists them all in the patch notes. Support this app. It’s the best Reddit experience you can get.
  • Better than Alien Blue

    By connor_rugs
When Alien Blue stopped being in the App Store and I had to use the default reddit app for a bit it was pretty annoying, as the default app just doesn’t have a ton of customizable features that make sense or better the reddit experience. Then Apollo came out, and I was absolutely blown away. So much better than Alien Blue and bugs are fixed so quickly, the developer is very engaged with the community so they always know of new bugs extremely fast. Pro is worth it, and if you’re a reddit power user Ultra would also most definitely be worth it for you. Custom gesture support and theming is awesome, so I can view reddit how I want. Plus different icons is fun, even if it doesn’t affect how you use reddit.
