Great recipe app! Keeps track of your recipes by different fields, categories both can be edited to your liking. Has a spot for pictures of the recipe your making. Has two ways of adding recipes. Simple type in your favorite or import from website which fills in the recipe - saves a lot of typing and time. Also it allows the recipes to be shared by your different devices. Love this app - glad I came across it. Had been searching for a great recipe keeper. Hence the name "Recipe Keeper". Enjoy

This app rocks! I can add my own recipe or import. The import works great adding the photo of the recipe & putting the ingredients & directions in the right place. This app is really helpful when I’m at the grocery store & need an idea for dinner. Love it!

I find this convenient for traveling and downsizing on my cookbooks. I enjoy having my favorite recipes in one spot.
  • Big Dinner Cook

I am an armature cook that once a weeks makes dinner for a group of 40 to 60. This is the perfect app for scaling my recipes to fit the large number. I also appreciate that I can view and edit it across my devices.

Have been looking for years for a recipe app that I could use to sync recipes between PC and iPad. When Recipe Keeper seemed to do everything I wanted, except allow me to import my recipes from my old PC program. I had almost 200 in there and dreaded the thought of having to type them all in again. The manual said to contact them if there were and features you wanted, so I did. I got a prompt response asking for export files from my old program. A couple days later I got a zip file with all my recipes and successfully imported them into recipe keeper.
  • Amazing! Three apps in one!!!

I have tried a number of recipe apps, some with great features, but that’s all they were...just recipes. So, I also had a meal planner app and many shopping list apps I was trying out. I have so many apps I can’t remember which ones I like or why! Recipe keeper saved my life! One app, so easy to use and save recipes I get online ALL the time, lan out my meals so I don’t buy tomatoes and they rot because I don’t need them for a recipe that week, and a shopping list IN the app so it will be easier to find which recipe I bought the ingredients for in the first place (although the meal planner will help too!) I buy so many ingredients for recipes I KNOW I needed something for at some point, but never remember every ingredient so I don’t end up making it, or I may not find the recipe again. It’s too confusing to keep up with so many apps, and this has saved my life! I had a few questions on function (I sometimes don’t read FAQ’s bad...) and I sent customer support an email. They got back to me within 24 hours! Then I responded and it was less than three. Very, very helpful. I don’t mind at all paying $5 for the upgrade or even $10 if I put it on both iOS and droid. I think it’s a steal! Can’t wait to see what new features they may add based on suggestions or their own experiences!

  • Almost Perfect

I’m giving it a 4. Here’s why... Richard’s support is impeccable. He responds to every inquiry quickly and is very helpful especially with purchasing and syncing multiple devices for multiple family members on multiple platforms. Recipe Keeper has become my go-to recipe app after trying them all. Here’s why it’s a 4 instead of 5. The app needs some UI enhancements to add less touches and clicks to do things. It also needs some added intelligence when importing to figure out course and category info from the recipe. And finally they need a full iOS paid version instead of an in-app add on purchase so that it can properly be shared with other family members using family sharing. That will get around Apple’s rule of family sharing not honoring in-app add ons. All in all I do highly recommend it. The alternative app Paprika uses photos that have to stay in the Photos app which to me was a deal breaker.

I use this app not only to store recipes but to also organise a shopping list and to plan meals. It great that it goes to every platform.
  • A great app!

After resisting an electronic recipe book for years, my personal and frequently used print one was dying. I had to either rewrite those in another book or go electronic. So, I tested a couple of apps. Recipe Keeper is easy to use, allows me to enter all the info in a format I like, and links with other devices. The shopping list on my phone is great when you are in the grocery store looking for inspiration. I upgraded and am very happy!
