  • Great app, missing one crucial feature!

This is a beautifuly designed app and works very well. The one feature that would make it absolutely perfect would be letting me link my account and having the app auto pull my account balance and transactions. Otherwise, great app!
  • This App Does Not Work

    By ahalgren232
This app works great for iOS, but not so much for Mac. The app says I am entering the wrong password now (which I am not), and the only way to reset it is to enter a previous entry. Which is impossible since the Mac app doesn’t sync with the iOS app consistently… So now I have an app (which I paid for) that is useless…. Thanks.
  • Simple with option to be very indepth

This app is very good for keeping track of finances. Easy to enter informaiton and reports are very easy to read. I hate Accounting and this does a good job of keeping track of basic information that is required of me. Does not have automatic syncing which I found became a problem with Quicken since it could not keep up with the changing logins of all the accounts, which in turn caused me more of a headache in the long run. A basic, add it yourself app with easy to read analysis.
  • Needs Checkbox for Reconciliation

I really like this app, but it is missing one important feature as far as our family is concerned — an easy manual way to double check our bank records with our human entered data that is prone to error. What I am talking about is an on/off button or checkbox like paper checkbook registers have that allows you to mark items that have been verified. If that feature is in this app, I cannot find it. But it is essential for those of us who still make mistakes.

  • Not updating

    By Adri Portland
i have been trying to update the app for 3 hs. It keeps on forever and never stops. Besides, There is no way I can import a whole CSV from other apps from the same bundle. Customer service has not solved my problem even after a week. The whole bundle is awful!!! Waste of time and money!!!! I lost all my data in a second and no one is able or willing to find a solution!

I migrated to this app after iReconcile never got updated. There was a 2 day learning curve and it took a while to set up the data in the way I wanted it, but it works fine. Finding the right icon for each kind of transaction was a bit time consuming. But I was pleased to discover I could import my own even. My data is syncing to maultiple devices just fine. Good work!
  • Latest updated has rendered what was a good program COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY UNUSABLE!!!!!!

    By sofele
App is now almost completely unusable! That is unless you enjoy waiting 10 - 15 MINUTES every single time you for 75% of the screen to respond. The single screen that responds normally is the balance screen. For every other screen that I’ve tried it is literally sit and wait for 10 - 15 minutes prior to seeing either anything at all or for it to respond and show what you just did.
  • Frustrating and Inflexible

    By Almdoi Pad
UPDATE: After spending ALL DAY trying to categorize and subcategorize and change my Descriptions to Agents, now Money Pro locks and “quits unexpectedly” every time I try to edit Expense Categories. I can’t even fully use this program on my MacBook. TOTAL WASTE. I have been using a simple checkbook register iPhone app for several years, but wanted the sync functionality across multiple devices, including my Mac. I splurged on Money Pro and WOW what a terrible disappointment. Each device I have synced to has ended up with a different total. I would prefer to be able to enter transactions as a unique description (e.g.: Taco Bell) and then categorize for reporting purposes (e.g.: Dining: Fast Food), but instead I can only enter transactions at a Category level. The reason this is frustrating is let’s say it’s the weekend and I am eating out a lot: I enter a transaction for a quick bite at McDonald’s for breakfast as I head out (Money Pro transaction: Dining: Fast Food). Later, I grab lunch at Taco Bell and then maybe later a snack at Dairy Queen. All of these transactions, all entered as Dining: Fast Food (because remember Money Pro does this on a Category level, rather than description level), and they are all for $5.00. According to Money Pro, these are all entered at the category level - so Dining: Fast Food. Now, a day or two later I want to reconcile my balance against my bank account. I can’t tell which specific transactions have cleared my bank account - only two have cleared. Or the other way around - I’m out and about and forget to add something to my Money Pro register - well, I can’t tell for sure which ones I have entered because I stopped several places for groceries. It’s just not very intuitive. While I can enter Description of the entries, the description is not a reportable field. At this point I am nearing an untenable number of Categories so that I can report accurately. In my other checkbook register app I would enter a transaction for Costco and then categorize it as Grocery or Household - easy breezy - end of year I just run a report of all Costco transactions. In Money Pro I have to create a category for Groceries and a subcategory of Costco and then Household and a subcategory for Costco. Even doing this it is difficult to just report on how much I spent at Costco in a year to make sure that I get my 2% back from them. UGH! It’s the least intuitive money management tool I’ve used. I am furious that I spent money on these applications. Unless they update to at least give the option to choose to do this transactional rather than at a Category level and fix the bug that causes the app to crash when trying to edit Expense Categories, I don’t understand how this is useful.
