This is one of the best apps. I have in my household for keeping me in check on all of the items I buy.
  • Great App

Today, I spent my time testing pantry apps to organize my life and save on my food bill. I am constantly buying things I already have and it way overdue in becoming more responsible in this area. So, Out of the 4 I’ve tried there are many pros and cons. Yet, what I like about this app is the scanning feature and the categories. Also the shopping list. I do wish I could create my own category. This could be helpful to many. However, the app is great and I believe it is worth $11.99 a year for 2,000 items.
  • Can’t share pantry inventory with spouse!

I love everything about this and spent hours logging things as I cleaned out the pantry ... to realize I can’t share the list with my spouse! Guess I’ll move on to try the next app..
  • Not free

Only allows you to store 200 items or free. Don’t waste your time like I did unless you plan on spending a monthly fee.
  • Easiest Tracker and Budgeter of Groceries!!!

This app is wonderful. It actually scans in your product, allows you to input the expiration date, when it was bought and how much it cost. Than you can add it to a grocery list later and it includes the cost and adds it up so you know what to expect before you get to the store. I love this app. I do wish the developers would include the ability to search my inventory and than give me recipe suggestions like I have seen on other apps. The other apps are not nearly as good as this one though by far! Also I would really enjoy the ability to import recipes from websites or input myself (picture or type in). It would just be so awesome to have all these features in one app and I would like it to be this one because it has been the easiest and well organized that I have come across.
  • Amazing

I absolutely LOVE this app. The only thing I wish is that there was a family share option so my husband could also see the inventory.
  • Fantastic App

Very easy to use, scan items in store, allows you to change categories, easy to remove items when used. Also let’s you take pictures if item is not recognized and add to inventory.
  • Monthly fee?

I have used this app for a long while and have been mostly happy with it. It works great however my app had notified me my free trial runs out soon and to keep I'll have to pay annual or monthly fees. Really? I understand everyone needs money but I'm not paying reoccurring fees - it's not that great. I would be happy to pay an one-time fee for the app though.

Works great! I have hoped for an app like this that works with Plan to Eat. It would be a perfect pairing.
  • So far I dig it

Out of the few of these types of apps I’ve tried, this one CONSISTENTLY finds the items I’m scanning. Many wouldn’t recognize or get the wrong item but Pantry Check has thus far (in my small 145 item trial list) recognized what I want it to. Thus, I’m impressed and am about to pull the trigger on the subscription, which, at $11/yr is pretty darn reasonable if you ask me. If that prevents the wife from buying 1 pack of steaks that we didn’t need because we had THREE already!!!! (True story) it’ll have paid itself 4x over. Nice job guys!
