  • Amazing but a bit difficult to manage along with pop ups

This is by far one of the best and most amazing apps I have used to learn another language. It was rough when I first started but after I got into it, it was easy. This was thanks to the helpful app, Mondly. I have to say that this app is amazing and is fantastic for new users who wish to learn more languages. One problem I do have with this app is the fact that it’s so un modern and gives off a feel of the early 2000s. Another thing I feel is off is the fact that everything is quite difficult to manage and the overall design is pretty bad. I wish the developers would add in a short tutorial at least or change everything to make it more cute so others are motivated to learn more. On the other hand the old design gives it a more rustic feel and somehow makes me want to learn more. It really depends on the developers and what they want to do. Another thing is that the premium subscription pops up every time you finish a lesson, click on the shop icon, and when you just sit there on the app itself. It’s quite bothersome to be completely honest. The subscription isn’t really worth that buying though, but if users want to buy it, they should have the availably to do it manually. Users who don’t care or are new should have the option to close the tab for the whole day regardless of whether or not they are interested. Anyway, this app is fantastic for learning and has great audio to understand the language itself. The only problems are the design (although it really isn’t at times) and the constant pop ups.

Is this app free, I downloaded it and it didn’t say anything about money in the beginning before downloading the app. Before I get started though I want to make sure it is free.

I have been using this app for more than 100 days now! Overall, this app has a great teaching method. I have emailed them about the few errors in the program and they have responded that they are working to fix them. When using the advance mode it really test and trains your ability to speak, write and spell. This is one of the only apps that test your speech and corrects it. I use this app several hours everyday. It is worth 5 stars.

Korean so far is the most difficult language to pronounce and I’m familiar with 3 other languages. However, with daily study and my nose on the grindstone I am making progress with both learning vocabulary and pronunciation. I am really enjoying this new adventure in learning a new language. A feature that I am very interested in and I do not know if this app offers it is a chapter or chapters in culture, traditions and customs. Knowing vocabulary and having the ability to form sentences is one thing, but knowing what to say based on culture is another. I will gladly give 5 stars if this app offers this feature.

So far this seems to be a great start at trying to learn such a complex language. I just wish it had some basic grammar so I could learn vowels and consonants along with writing.
