  • Amazing and fun way to improve playing

Unlike a typical dry boring routine exercises, Yousician is really fun and you will get to play tunes from all kinds of music. By exploring such a variety of styles here, I found the ones I enjoyed playing that otherwise I probably would not even consider to try. Couple things YouSician can improve though: 1: some of the suggested finger positions suggested are way to hard and complicated or even impossible and 2: The marketing is to aggressive and pushy that jeeps trying you to upgrade you to the next plan (I already pay for a regular plan, so they're making $$ of me).
  • It’s pretty good!

Yousician is helping me learn guitar so that I can be a bigger part of my rock band. It has a wide selection of instruments that you can learn, I’m personally working on voice and guitar though. If you spend the money to get premium, you can get unlimited practice time and get a lot more perks. However, if you don’t you still get about 15 minutes per day to work on your music.
  • Good but not much not much songs

The apps good but I try to look for songs I want. And lots of songs need the premium and lots of people don’t have that money.and it doesn’t even have Christian songs.

Yousician is basically online music lessons, and I absolutely love it! The instructors did a great job and it’s so realistic.

The app is great but the only problem is. Is that the microphone is pretty bad it never hears me.

  • Not getting better

The jump from lead level 6 to lead level 7 is gigantic. The songs did not help me prepare for the next level because they were just to easy. And now on lead level 7 it’s so difficult slowing it down all the way is still too fast. I keep going back and practicing and practicing and practicing but it’s not enough every time I try and do level 7 I just get frustrated and upset. Maybe it’s just me and I’m not cut out for guitar but I don’t know. I also don’t know what you can do about this but I just wanted to share my frustration with you.
  • Is good but...

Ok so I got this app to try to learn the guitar. I had the app for about 3 days before deleting it. The whole idea of the app is great and I think it would have worked well. One of the downfalls is that I can’t go 4 minutes without getting a ad about buying the premium version for $60. That’s not the only thing. Most of the songs on the lessons are locked so I can’t play them. Your not getting the full learning experience. Why would I pay $60 for an app that teaches me to pluck strings when I could pay for actual guitar lessons for almost the same price. I’ve tried this app with tablets and phones. Whenever I play Anything, it tells me I got it wrong. I even tried using professional studio microphones and I still was wrong. Plus, you only get 10 minutes of lesson time a day, A DAY. I learn how to play one day and forget the stuff I learned the next. I go to rewatch the videos to Renew my memory, but then I run out of lesson time again, and I didn’t even play or learn anything. Ok so maybe the locked songs aren’t THAT bad but only ten minutes a day? With actually guitar lessons, I’m there for about an hour and learn more that the app teaches me in a week. Another thing, it has barely any information on how to learn notes. If I actually wanted to play guitar I’m not going to see a ball bouncing on a fingerboard, telling me witch fret to put my fingers on. It’s going to be notes. I suggest you change that. The only reason I’m not leaving 1 star is because I like the idea. Paths teaching you all you need to know. I’m sure you could learn how to play with this app, but not with only ten minutes a day. Maybe 30 minutes would be better. If anybody reads this review I suggest not getting this app, unless you can fork out $60. This app is ok if you have premium, but the free version is not good at all. I got this because I thought it would be a cheap alternative to guitar lessons, but I guess I’ll call my Guitar teacher. Good idea but, but honestly, I can learn more about how to play guitar with YouTube.
