YogaWorks App Reviews

  • Online videos stop

Due to the auto lock feature with new iPhone, videos stop after 5 minutes. Boo.
  • Can you make a separate app for MyYogaWorks?

    By MLnyc
I’ve been a member of yogaworks and teacher trainee for many years. Recently I moved to an area where I don’t have access to a studio, but I really want to utilize my MyYogaWorks membership. However, it doesn’t play well on my phone or iPad. It keeps cutting out or freezing. Would love to be able to easily screen mirror it onto my tv for a quick morning practice... but the current way the app is available (having to sign in through a browser) makes it cumbersome, unappealing, and perhaps more susceptible to playback issues? I want to keep using it, but I’m thinking of finding other online apps and yoga classes to get my practice done with. Please change something with your MyYogaWorks options! It’s causing your once devoted members to consider other options!
  • Unreliable, awful app

    By gefgyh
Almost comically unreliable. Constant error messages, auto-logging out. More trouble than it’s worth.
  • Content is great, but poor UX and app

I got a subscription to Yoga Journal magazine and with that came a free subscription to this app. I was excited to try it because I have some YogaWorks DVDs and I like their teaching. And I have faithfully try to make this work during the trial period. I want to love this app because I really like the classes and the instructors. The classes themselves are high-quality. There is a really great selection, they organize by level one/beginners, level two/immediate, and level 3/expert/teachers. It also includes some guided meditation. But this app cannot compare to other yoga apps or even YouTube. It not only crashes, but simple things like the ability to turn the screen and have the video play horizontally, or the ability to create a new playlist easily doesn’t work. When scrolling, the videos are slow to load. If you walk away for a second, and your auto lock goes on your phone, it closes the app and it doesn’t remember what video you were on or where you left off. The app just closes. It’s too bad, I really wish the app itself work better because the classes are great. But it’s not enough for me to want to continue to use the app.
  • 2018 Review

    By Sonora
This app lets my book classes quickly and easily and it is beautiful.
  • Old reviews?

    By joannaplantlife
Reviews must be old because I love this app? I almost didn't download it because of the reviews but so glad I did! I prefer it over the online browser version because it easily syncs with my calendar when I book the class over the app, which isn't the same with the website. So five stars for that.
  • Waste of an app

    By Wooly88
The screens take too long to load and if you navigate away from the app and return it the slow load screen appears again.
  • Very convenient

I book all my classes with this app. Also if I ever have to cancel a class I do it right from my phone. The only thing is that it used to let you book several Tuesdays (or any other day) in a year an now you have to book every Tuesday (or any other day) one at a time
  • Let Me Add To Calendar again plz

    By six_wax
Being able to add to my calendar (without registering for the class online) was the best feature. Now it's just a schedule, with a clunky interface, no other meaningful features, lots of crashes, etc.
  • Why tho.

    By MonPetitAmi
It’s not at all functional to book classes. I keep receiving a stream of network and other errors when I try to log in and actually add a class. I don’t need to waste space on my phone for an app that only allows me to look up the schedule. I can do that online without the headache. With how big a company this is, I can’t really figure out why they can’t build an app that works.
