Aeris Pulse Weather App Reviews

  • Best Weather App I’ve Used

Accurate period! And radar is very useful.
  • The Best Weather App

    By JMcC24
I don’t even know how this is #146 on weather apps. So much better than the other apps I’ve tried. How Dark Sky can be rated higher than this app is beyond me. It’s been my go to for a year or so and no other app comes close to the simplicity and accuracy. Keep up the good work. Would give 10 stars if I could.
  • Push notifications are absent

    By izenmike
I liked it in the past, tried a different one, and came back for the lightening map. Paid for the lightening notifications sub. No push notifications work 😒. Update: notifications are now working. However, it’s been over 5 house since weather data has been updated 😣.
  • Better than Dark Sky

    By Yemelro
The app is excellent and very accurate. Real time threat notifications are invaluable especially with respect to hail.
  • Used to be great

Push notifications for incoming storms are no longer working as of 2019-04-26.
  • Keep coming back to this app

    By BSM@123
I tend to rotate through apps that I like and that I see as accurate. I keep coming back to this app. Great visual presentation and I love the “threat notification” where it tells you about nearby precipitation or storms!
  • Excellent and Reliable ... why so overlooked?

    By Frankns
This is really a fine iPhone weather app. Aeris displays a great deal of information in a small space. The landing screen includes text of current conditions or outlook, as well as graphic markers for alerts and in-bound threatening weather. Swipe up, and Aeris displays detail for today and five days ahead. Tap a day and drill in. This is what I like about Aeris: good detail, logically arranged, and no space-filling graphic animations “showing” what I probably already know. Yes, that it’s raining outside. Doh. Beyond that, their forecasts are at least as good as all the other players. I’ve experienced them as slightly better than the Wunder-focused products, and about the same as DarkSky. YMMV, some of this may just be about location and data availability. On the down side, radar can be a little slow in loading and some of the features like “future radar” will cost you. I’ve paid the price because I like the feature and find value for the price. I’ve tried the rest and they all have a place. Sometimes I use them for a month or so. DarkSky gets a run every once and a while. But I keep coming back to Aeris. It’s worth your time.
  • 5-day precipitation forecast accuracy is laughable

    By uinazi
3-day forecast is good. Gets ridiculous after that. Nice app, though. Simple. Great map. And a new (to the app community) forecast source, which could be a breath of fresh air. Two days ago it forecast 15 inches of snow over a period of three days starting tomorrow. Other forecasts had a couple of inches. 15 would have been an all-time record breaker for Portland, OR. Now, two days later, is agrees with all the others and there will be very little snow. Drama is fun but that’s not what I look for in a weather app.
  • Best weather app ever

    By wkruhoeffer
No need to get any other weather app other than this one. Aeris Pulse is by far the most accurate. Highly recommend!
  • Weather Model Too Fast

    By Blackbeard248
The weather model scrolls by too fast, even when the slow option is picked. There is no way to stop the scrolling forecast so I can examine the map more closely. The developer is making an effort to add a stop animation option for the next release. Because of their customer support, I am giving this app four stars and will rewrite my review after the new release.
