  • Needs A Complete Makeover

    Pro: Deals and coupons are nice. Con: Nothing but issues when ordering through the app. I’ve had the McDonald’s app for over a year and have really tried to like it, but it seems I have nothing but issues every time I use it to place an order. The ordering interface is slow, regardless of how I’m connect (WiFi or cellular data). I consistently have problems when it comes to pick up. The app will freeze up or not register the payment. Most recently, I tried to order from the app and repeatedly received an error when I tried to check in. So, I canceled the order and went inside to order. Later, I find that I was still charged for my canceled order. I tried using the “contact us” function on the app, but repeatedly get an error message that I don’t have permission to access that portion of the app. The app is good for the coupons and deals, but that’s about it.

    Like new look. You added something annoying remove the suggestion function unless the item is free than I don’t care about the suggested items so remove that function😡😡😡😡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you order and then close the app it automatically sends please check in to soon receive it needs to be sent when you are able to checkin. The app looks great but it doesn’t have stability isn’t there you might as well throw it in the garbage can. Y’all need to take a page out of chick fil a app never had any issues but y’alls constantly good when it works. It’s getting better but still some stability

    Honestly, I don’t even use the app that much but each time I’ve tried to use it to order from the app all I get is an error message saying to reset the app or close it and get back into it. This has happened 3+ times in different occasions on different days at different times in separate months and it’s just really annoying. The convenience of pre-ordering is the whole reason I downloaded it and it was just more stressful than it needed to be so I deleted it.

    Ever since the update this never works. It just says I need to update my WiFi connection but it does this to every person I know that has the app. Please fix this

    While I love using the app when it works, there’s roughly a 50/50 shot at it not working. Too often, it says “Sorry, that didn’t work. Confirm your internet connection and retry. If issue continues, restart the App.” Each time I will disconnect and reconnect the WiFi, even switch to data, and when desperate, I’ll delete and redownload the entire app. Once it’s down, though, it’s gone for the day, no matter what you do. This is normal for everyone I know, too. Hopefully it’ll be more reliable and I can use it without having to worry if it’ll work. It’s convenient and great time saver when it’s working!
