  • Scary, never downloading this again

At first I thought this app was shady as it asked for some management control which I understand from the contexts of using this app you have to give up some control. Now I did check the reviews before I downloaded this app, and I decided to give it a chance. After downloading, I followed instructions for the files and powering off your phone situation but I’m not sure if it worked properly which might explain why this happens, so I was brushing my teeth some notification popped up and I clicked to open my phone to find all my apps deleted!! This was impossibly frightening, my privacy was exploited and I felt extremely vulnerable like I’ve been hacked. This was even more freaky as I had deleted the app after following instructions for power off your phone because I didn’t want to indulge in such complex stuff and it was getting increasingly more “shady”. But Thankfully the internet helped me as I searched up how to get rid of the app completely by going to settings and etc. ALL IN ALL BE AWARE OF WHAT YOUR DOWNLOADING AND DO IT PROPERLY. (I didn't want to rate this app because I know a lot of effort probably was put into producing it but from my traumatic experience I just want to warn some customers I also understand this worked for some other customers perfectly but I didn’t for me)

I got this around the holidays. Worked like a dream for about 2 months. I paid for the annual subscription. Now, it wakes up in lockdown. If I give more time, 10 minutes later, it’s in lockdown. It sits thinking about whether to go back to child mode way too much. Will likely not renew.
  • Stopped working

I’m not sure what happened but this app stopped controlling the other devices. Holding both devices in my hand, i tried locking the other, no effect.

This is great except the developers can't control iOS settings so my 13 yr old figured out in a second how to turn it off. When that happens the parent does not get notification. When it is on, it is great. We have a phone contract but I needed an app that is back up to that. Unfortunately, the way it can be turned off makes it totally useless.
  • Camera problem

Listen... I turned off my kids camera one day to make her get off of FaceTime but then when i turned it back on her camera, FaceTime, and any apps that involve a camera were gone.
  • This is exactly what i needed!!

I had been struggling to break my kids from there screen habits. They were on every waking moment, and i was sick of telling them to do something else... i have been using this for about six months now. Im not someone who uses my phone allot, and am not overly tech savvy. i was able to install this on both my kids i-pads with no problems. The schedules and modes are perfect. My kids are with grandparents after school for a couple of hours. I didn't want to burden them with taking the games away so they would do their homework. I set it up to work when they are off of school, and then turn off after the bus ride, so they can do homework. When they get done, they text me (text still works) i can check with grandparents, and then turn the apps back on from my phone at work. It only takes a few seconds. Im still the bad guy..., grandma and grandpa are still the hero. Then when allowed time runs out, the apps shut off, and they go outside because there is nothing else to do. Or i can add time as a reward, or whatever. They fought pretty hard at first to get more time. Now they rarely use it all. They have just made a new habit of playing outside, or playing games together. I did however have to lock out the TV as well. Pretty easy with our cable box. I have run into a few hiccups, mostly self inflicted, but the support has been fast and great. I recommend giving this a try, it is worth the money to me. Biggest downfall is now I'm always texting back and forth with kids and grandparents after school. And the apps get put into alphabetical order. I basically told my kids to just deal with it, and i still use my phone less than anyone i know.

It’s easy to control devices from a central hub. We use it in conjunction with iPhone restrictions. Web filtering did allow some inappropriate content, but just added web filter companion app. Hope it helps. Would like do see ability to restrict calls and texts to a pre-approved emergency contact list.
  • Great app!

There are some aspects I still don’t fully understand- wish I had a chat with customer service - but it is helpful- even if I am not using all the features fully-
