  • Constant prompts

    By CatRandy
At level 4, I started getting prompts to build a beach every 2 minutes even though the minimum level to build one is level 14. I looked for a way to report this as a bug, but even finding a way to report a bug is a total run around. I would not recommend this game to my worst enemy.
  • Not the same gratification as OG SimCity

    By CJvosh
This game is basically a click and progress game. There’s no challenge. You just click click click and progress through the game. No strategy needed. Sim city is supposed to be about strategy and requiring intelligence to progress, but this game is Extremely watered down, simplified version, meant to be generic enough For all demographics. Everything is laid out for you and you just click to progress. No decision making required. It’s basically like FarmVille, skinned to look like SimCity. The biggest complaint I have is he fact that you directly build the homes and factories, as opposed to the way sim city is supposed to work which is you hold the zones and people build the homes and business granted you provide the right environment. That is what made SimCity so amazing and realistic... they’ve lost that essence. It’s basically a glorified FarmVille. A+ to the developers though. The game is very smooth and bug free so far. The issue is with the game design

  • Emphasis on War Games has ruined SimCity for me

    By 3wilddogs
Game is fantastic if you want to design and build your own city with a huge variety of objects to pick from. But the focus on War Games has ruined my enjoyment of the game - you don’t even have a chance to do well in the Contest of Mayors anymore unless you engage in War Games. There are lots of war game apps out there, I don’t see why this was incorporated into SimCity. You also used to see a lot more rotation of sellers in the Global Trade HQ, but now it’s very unlikely you’ll find what you are looking to buy. Disappointed.
  • No no one cares about your problems in the game

    By Zicozee1
I have been spending a lot of money on here , I have technical problems with joining the war with my club which I am the president of the club I have been complaining over and over to fix my problem no one replies no one cares and I am spending a lot of money on this game so either they fix my problems or return back my money .
  • Store residential buildings

    By Equnwang
Enjoy the game for many years now. Would love to be able to store regular residential buildings so that I can reorganize my city. That will prolong my playing time otherwise I am stuck with a layout.
  • Great game

  • needs work

The game is great, but it won’t let me use the trade center or the mayors club. Can someone tell me what’s up?
  • Too repetitive, not enough space

    By Dad of a. 6yo
The game offers a great deal of variety of new special features and structures, but there is too little space to place them. At a certain point the entire game becomes tedious in its repetition. The game would be improved by providing a lot more space and allowing users to skip the many, slow animations that are amusing maybe the first or second time, but afterward simply add to the tedium. Mayor's clubs are full of inactive members, as they are largely useless. The matching algorithm for club wars is poor, but more significantly wars are simply another boring, poorly conceived feature. Why not improve the basic game, and ability to city build, rather than adding more repetitive tedium? Really EA has decided to convert this game from city-building to war clubs, and I guess they are making money with that model, but why not be honest about it -- that actually building a city and actual creative elements are in a distant back seat to war activities.
