GoodNotes lets you take beautiful handwritten notes and annotate PDF documents. The handwritten notes are searchable and are created using a pioneering vector ink engine. Thanks to iCloud sync, your documents in GoodNotes will synchronize between your iPad and iPhone automatically. ## Make Your Handwritten Notes Last Forever ## GoodNotes features a state-of-the-art digital ink technology that will look great even with future super-high resolution displays. ## OCR: Search Handwritten Notes ## Just type in the search box what you're looking for and then tap Search. ## Better Than Paper Notebooks ## Type with the keyboard, insert images, or draw perfect shapes easily; mix between any kind of papers or even insert PDF docs inside a notebook; rearrange or delete pages as you like. It is very flexible. ## Annotate PDF Documents; Fill and Sign Forms ## Great for saving time, paper, and the environment. Microsoft Word and PowerPoint files are supported too. ## Large Collection of Beautiful Covers and Papers ## Each template is carefully designed in vector format. There are lined papers, graph papers, music papers, and lots of notebook covers to choose from. Add your own template with an image or a PDF file. ## GoodNotes Does Not Slow You Down ## Thanks to the powerful zoom window feature, you can write quickly with your fingers or with a stylus in a large area, and your handwriting will be shrunk automatically. ## Just Write Them Down and Don’t Worry ## You can correct any mistake any time and it won’t become messy. The lasso tool will let you move things around or even resize them. ## Protect Your Valuable Data ## GoodNotes features a trash function to protect from accidental deletion. It can also backup your data to Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive automatically. ## GoodNotes is Also a Digital Whiteboard ## Your audience will not see the user interface — just the content — and you can choose which part of the page to show them. Many teachers and lecturers are already using GoodNotes to teach. ================ The screenshots use material from Wikipedia articles Photoelectric effect[1] and Internal combustion engine[2], which are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share-Alike License 3.0[3]. • Wont download

Wasted 7.99 because this app has not gotten past "loading" for 5 hours. Uninstalled, reinstalled, updated iOS, restarted my iPad ... Nothing. I want my money back thanks.
  • Best Note Taking App. (Two Minor Issues)

    By Ssteph66
This is the best note taking application I have found! If the below two things could get fixed it would easily be a five star app! * It would be nice if you could delete the uncategorized folder, or at least change its name. * It would also be nice if you could set a certain folder as the default folder to open to when opening the app.
  • Only one thing missing

    By mamunguia
Dot grid paper not available, please work on this and this will make GoodNotes the best app I know.
  • Great for teachers!

    By itslinz
I use this app to make note outlines for my 6th grade students. I take pictures of their math books, crop them and incorporate it into the notes. My students love what I create and it has streamlined my math lessons, and makes their notes more useful to them.
  • Add audio!!!!!

And the ability to mark the audio accordingly to your ppt or notes please!
  • Amazingly versatile, indispensable app

    By robra26
I use this app daily, for taking notes in meetings and calls, jotting down ideas and keeping my to do lists organized to marking up docs received from others to helping my son with his math homework (if you haven’t tried this using the graph papers and auto shapes, it really works from geometry to modeling algebra answers). Combined with MS Word/PPT/Excel's ability in iOS to "send” pdf files using other apps, am basically able to review and mark up the usual kinds of files people send to me (doesn’t have to be received as a pdf). One thing I wish for is either tagging or starring items, so I can track important items/follow up items. It’s currently a small price to pay, but I need to regularly review my notes post meetings and then transcribe all follow-up and key items to my reminders app. Wish GoodNotes could remind me...
  • Excellent app

This is an excellent app, the only thing I wish it had was 1. Search functionality across multiple notebooks. 2. The ability to have more tiers of sub folders within a folder.
  • Really love it but can i put folders or dividers in the notebook

    By ChrisSay1
I would love to have my notebooks more organized. For ex: for my todays class i have about 5 pages of notes i would love to have my notebook with dividers so i can put todays date. It would make it easier to go back to my notes and look for something specific. Having to go through those pages is a lot they add up and time consuming
  • lost notebooks

    By jk7young
I lost several notebooks because of an update. I can’t find them anywhere. I really loved this app until this happened.
  • Wants full access to your cloud storage

    By GreenSmoothie
This app seems really nice and I would love to use it, but its auto backup to cloud storage demands FULL UNFETTERED ACCESS to your entire Dropbox or Google Drive. This means that the GoodNotes team (as well as anyone who manages to hack their servers, which is not hard to do these days) can download ALL of your personal, private data in the cloud anytime they want. This is a major security issue and I am amazed that the developer hasn’t fixed by now, especially in light of all the data leaks that are making headlines all the time. It’s very easy for apps to only request access to a single, app-specific folder in your cloud storage, and the good apps do that so the user doesn’t have to risk leaking every one of their files in the cloud. The sloppy apps just ask for access to everything. I would love to change this review to 4 or 5 stars, which is what this app would be if it weren’t creating gaping security holes for its users.
