Cape Cod Times e-edition App Reviews

  • Aweful login

    By Cape cod smoker
I’ve been a Cape Cod Times customer for years. I have never experienced difficulties trying to log into this site. I pay over $800.00 per year for both print and online It’s not worth half that. Close to the end doing business with you folks.
  • They are correct, this site is terrible to log into!

    By lakeozonia
No star is my rating. I downloaded the app onto iPad and it won’t allow me to establish an account so I can’t login. Goodbye Cape Cod Times
  • Terrible

    By Cape Cod Bill
They did something to the app that requires you to upgrade your browser with “captcha”. Never heard of or have seen this anywhere. CCT is now the only app I can’t get to work on any device.
  • Makes you log in often- at least daily

    By MollyM1133
App will not keep log in info and I have to type it in every time. Also when I click link from email to read an article, brings me to App Store to download rather than straight to the app. Super glitchy was to get some local news. Needs work.
  • App does not retain login credentials.

The ENTIRE Cape Cod Times online experience is terrible, but it is obvious they do not care.
  • I LOVE IT!!!

    By Jannie Lou
I love it!!! I was debating whether to renew my subscription or not. I read it on my computer &/or ipad mini, and it didn't work for me. ---- When I saw the new version, I couldn't believe how easy it is to use!! I'm finding out that now I read almost the whole paper! I just renewed my subscription!!! THANK YOU CAPE. COD TIMES!!!
  • New update on version 2.6.71 dated 2/6/17

    By Cglynne
Your new update is very disappointing, with the google ads on the bottom of the page, when we and other people are paying for this paper, the ad takes up space, so you can not read the full page and no way to remove these ads. I also called the paper and the man I spoke to was very nasty telling me that it was the tablets fault, not anything the times was responsible for. He was so arrogant that I hung up on him, thinking of getting rid of our prescription.i also called again with these concerns and they blew me off, saying they would get back to me, didn't happen, they don't care about the customer, they just want your $$$
  • lower portion of page is hidden by an ad

    By Tr1858
This app used to be tolerable, but the latest version now displays an ad on the bottom of the page. It's not possible to scroll to the bottom so some of the content is lost in the Fit view. If you close the ad, you get a box indicating it's a Google ad. You still can't scroll to see the content.
  • E-Edition Not Reliable

    By Jane on Cape Cod
When this version of the Cape Cod Times opens, it is an excellent source of local and world news. Lately it requires logging in each time I read it, sometimes while I'm reading it. This week, it refuses to log in at all. I'm ready to cancel my subscription. Now after the new version was installed it's full of banner ads! Really disappointed this has happened. Jane C. • Worst app

    By Tara Costa
This app is the worst. Shouldn't have to log in every time!! It crashes, it could really use a new update. Please let us stay logged in, its so annoying.
