Team Umizoomi: Math Racer HD App Description

Get behind the wheel for Race Day in Umi City! With Team Umizoomi: Math Racer, your child can customize and race their own car while enjoying fun pit stop math challenges so they can learn as they play! Now your child can build and race Umiriffic Vehicles in Umi City. First, they’ll design and customize their very own race car in the Umi garage, or they can choose one of their favorites - UmiCar, Shark Car, Umi Taxi or Ninja Car. Kids control their car with a simple swipe as they race around the track collecting coins and avoiding obstacles. They’ll enjoy pit stop challenges that combine math curriculum with fun activities such as changing a tire or tuning up the engine. Kids will earn trophies and decorative car decals after each race! Team Umizoomi: Math Racer fosters early math skills through an immersive number-based curriculum that includes: • Number identification • Counting and enumeration • Number comparisons • Early addition and subtraction • Number sequencing Each curricular activity is clearly defined and integrated into the app’s fun race car theme. From changing the oil to cleaning the windshield, kids will have hours of playtime as they successfully complete up to six different levels of difficulty. • That game is so Umiriffic!

I really love this game because it's based on one of my favorite shows and I'm an autistic kid who loves that show because UmiCar is so cute. Unfortunately, that show got cancelled last year in 2015 for unknown reasons, but it was still very popular afterward. If you can get the show to come back with a new fifth season, I will be happy. Plus, I would love it if you make a new iOS game where you actually care for and play with UmiCar. You can "feed" him math fuel, caress and tickle him, give him a wash, put him to sleep with a lullaby, and play exciting math minigames with him! Oh, and that's not all; you can even dress him up in cool hats and costumes! Wouldn't that be fun? And one more thing, add coins that help you unlock new toys and costumes for UmiCar. So, what are ya waiting for?! Get to work and do all those things to make me happy! P.S. Apple has confirmed that iOS 11 will not run 32-bit apps. Because this is a 32-bit app, could you please upgrade it to a 64-bit, adding new cars, decals, and BGM to the game?

Had it 6 minutes and already regretting it. There is only 1 game with no math involved. I kept waiting to level up, see a new track, anything. Extremely disappointed!

When we saw the app on TV my son jumped and scream DAD CAN YOU GET ME THAT!!!! After seeing his reaction and excitement, how can a father refuse. Nonetheless, here is my input. 1. Price is too expensive. The app should have a demo version before we make the commitment. 2. The educational value is too far in between. To get to the Math, you have to swipe or tilt the iPad way too long. My son gets distracted easily, not because of ADHD but because he has to travel far to get to the math interaction, and collecting coins is not really that much fun. Attempting to self enhance the app, I count with him the number of coins he collects. I tried counting up and down. After 7 minutes he push the home button and started to play with another app. I'm afraid that he does not like the app.

Way too pricey...only one "race" it does allow you to change/build cars but the activities are the same throughout the race.

This was way too expensive for what you get, it's a racing video game that throws out a few numbers and calls it math. I have yet to discover the how the 'early sequencing and addition & subtraction' even come into play in the app. If I could return it I would as there is little educational value and its not exciting enough to keep my three year old entertained.
