  • Crashing

    By King Jativa
I’ve played other Poker apps likes ones by Zynga and this seemed to be a great app until it frequently would freeze and crash while I’m in the middle of tournaments. What the hell is that? I was forced to fold when I had a winning hand.
  • Algorithms

    By hmmm meh
You’re not skilled and you’re not unlucky in WSOP poker because you are at the mercy of an algorithm so neither is a factor. The game gives you momentum boosters +1 +2 advantages, etc, so it’s never a fair deck/deal. At some point you may become so frustrated that you buy chips which is their entire business model. You are NOT PLAYING A FAIR GAME OF POKER...because someone always has an advantage based on their status or how much real money they’ve paid for their chips. If you can recognize when the game is plotting against you and exit before your stash is gone then you can rack up chips.
  • Enough already I’m not buying!

The game is fine, but the incessant pressure to buy chips is really annoying.
  • Rip off.

This site is designed for one thing. That is to get you to spend real cash. The game is devoid of real poker odds. It is amazing and at this point comical to watch myself lose. No matter if I flop the nuts I can be assured that the runner runner bs will follow. Any straight I flop will end in a flush. A flush only guarantees that the board will pair making the boat. Now I’m not a donk or just a sore loser. The game play here is completely unrealistic. Quads are common place as getting trips. Don’t believe. Just play you will soon see what I mean. Just don’t play expecting a real poker game. It does not exist here. This is one big bingo game.
  • This game is a total sham

Unrealistic outcomes and the hands are ridiculous. You never see these scenarios. Stupid.
  • WSOP will not work on IPad

I have been so frustrated trying to play this on my iPad. Worked great for about a year then they updated format. Takes forever to open the app downloading then if I can get in game it crashes constantly. Have not played more than a couple of hands in months. I have deleted, rebooted, refreshed several times keeps crashing. I am done with it. Works fine on my iPhone. And it’s not my iPad. Everything else works great
  • The game is rigged

This game is designed to keep taking your money. Every few hundred dollars they throw you a bone.
  • Yes pay to win but also takes skill.

The game is very similar to regular Texas Holdem that you would play at the casino. The only difference is the algorithms used for dealing cards (I would think, considering it’s an online game and they have to randomly generate the cards each player receives). However, just like real life, you CAN buy chips. It’s a poker game. I don’t see the people’s issue with it. If you buy $100M worth of chips for $30+ (real money), then they have the absolute right to blow all their in-game currency however they like. But if you want to start out with the money it gives you and build up from there, then you can do that too. Your actions and only your actions have consequences in this game. If you decide to work hard and amass a fortune but blow it all in one hand, that’s your fault. Not the person that spent $100 to match your hand. When people complain about it being a “pay to win”, they’re complaining because they don’t posses the skill to play and actually win with skill. Within my first day of playing, I went from $400,000 to $80,000,000 then back down to $35,000. Guess what? ALL MY FAULT. How is it the fault of those who spent real money on chips? Anyways, it’s a great game if you just want to get your gambling urges out of the way. I have spent $36 on this game so far, but that’s FAAAR less than what I would have lost if I had actually went to a casino to play. To me, it’s worth it. It’s fun. I lost around 80% of that $36 spent so far, in chips, and not even mad. You don’t get that much aside from chips when you spend real life money on the game. Sure, you get some exp, and some bracelet points, but for it to make a difference, you would need to spend hundreds of dollars. If you’re going to invest that much in a virtual game with no real world benefit, then why does it matter that they get only a little further ahead? Or that they can’t go bankrupt? Just because people pay for chips, doesn’t have ANY effect on you. People will ALWAYS complain when they lose or ANYTIME a game sells an in game currency. PAYING DOESN'T ENSURE A WIN!! IT’S NOT PAY-TO-WIN!!
  • Have to agree with most other users...

    By Kenobi06
There is no way the deals are random. The amount of “random luck” players get is completely unrealistic to the odds and does seem to be done in certain styles in order to pressure some users to purchase chips.
  • Scam

    By sled crazy
All they want is your real money. They put you on win streak and then take it away without reason. They hope you spend your hard earned money on chip to get back what you lost.
