FaxFile - send fax from iPhone or iPad App Description

Send fax from iPhone or iPad. Fax documents including PDF documents or pictures from your iPhone or iPad to any fax number in the USA/Canada and to many international locations. Send fax from an iPhone as simply as selecting a document and entering the fax number. Fax to both toll-free numbers and direct dial non-toll free numbers. Fax multiple files (documents) to multiple fax recipients simultaneously. Directly browse Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, OneDrive and Apple's iCloud Drive storage for fax compatible documents. FaxFile supports fax sending pdf and Microsoft office Word documents (.doc or .docx). It can also send as a fax images - this enables you to fax pictures from your iPhone, iPad or iTouch camera. FaxFile supports using a fax number from an iPhone contact or typed in fax numbers for a one-off fax. Also supports direct image capture (scan) and document transfer from a variety of applications. FaxFile automatically and repeatedly retry faxes that don't go through initially - no additional charge and you don't need to do anything. You will need to purchase fax credits through the app to send a fax. Fax credits are not refundable in whole or in part. NOTE: for international faxes, check the price in the application before purchasing credits to verify that the countries you care about are supported. If a fax fails to go through PLEASE call the number and verify that a fax machine is actually answering. This is the number one problem with failed faxes. Don't rely on "of course the fax machine is working". Faxes of image files (photos of documents) can take quite a while to send as a fax. Allow 1-3 minutes per page to fax if you are sending a scan or image (photo) file.

  • Very good app, works flawlessly

Every once in a while I come into a situation where I’m dealing with a place that is still using faxes (seriously?!). Anyway what a pain. This app takes all the pain out of it. It’s super easy to use. My only complaint, and for this I almost gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is I feel it’s somewhat expensive. They charge ~40¢ per page. I don’t mind paying for a great service but this is steep imo. If your faxing a lot of documents (like I just did) it adds up pretty fast. 10¢ - 20¢ per document seems more reasonable. However, I understand they have to make a living and their system probably has ongoing operating costs, so perhaps the price is fair. Thus I retained the 5 stars.

  • Works perfectly

This app just works. Especially easy if you have cloud storage like One Drive or Dropbox. Really nice to use mixed file types as sources, such as a mix of .jpg and .pdf. I only have to fax something once or twice a year, and not having a monthly fee to pay for fax services is a huge plus.
