Installed and trying to get started with app. However, Cal is not listed in Settings>>Privacy>>Calendars list with the other apps that need calendar access.

I liked Cal until I switched to an iPhone 8 & was unable to make it work. Support no help.
  • Doesn’t Work- Don’t Bother Downloading

    By PhoenixSNET
Downloaded the app to link schedules and calendar events with my girlfriend. I tried creating an account, but couldn’t. It tells you that you can sign in through Facebook. That doesn’t work and it asks you for an email but doesn’t give you the option to submit it. Just cancel. I tried skipping to see what the app was about and it tells you to allow it access to the calendar the manual way (settings to privacy to allow) and the app doesn’t even show up in those settings. The app is a joke and not worth spending the storage on your phone for.
  • Dumb

It forces your to import your previous calendars. Which should be optional especially for some one who is trying to over come too many synced calendars like Facebook. This app is basically co-dependent on what you already have in your calendar and there’s no way to filter that. This a dumb flaw.
  • Not too bad!

I've been using this app on and off for a few years and it's ok, but it definitely needs an update on the visuals to reflect the new screen sizes on the X, XR, XS and XS Max. Again it'll get the job done but it's not taking advantage of the screen real estate on the newer phones.
  • I STILL LOVE this App!

    By RFairbanks
This is still the only calendar app I need or use.
  • freezes and lags like crazy

wish y’all would fix that. it’s been years. besides that, I like it a lot update: I posted my initial review in May of 2015. it’s now Sept 2018. nothing has changed and I’m officially deleting lol
  • Can’t log in!

Got a new phone and now I need to log in to access my calendar. When I try to log in using Facebook, it asks for my email. Then nothing happens.
  • Cal shared calendar

This was my choice of a replacement calendar for Sunrise calendar, clearly it is not Sunrise calendar by any stretch of your imagination. Cal has a new nice look and simple design. The calendar works nicely with Any-do to do lists. The calendar allows you to enter an event and set custom reminders. The calendar does well at inviting people from your contacts and finding location information. I couldn't give a five star rating since I have really only used it a short time and haven't truly tested three limitations of the calendar app.
