  • Noom is the best!

I was skeptical but needed something different - when I saw an ad for Noom I thought two thing “yeah right” then “I’ve got nothing to lose.” I was wrong - I started at 220 pounds and weighed in at 192 this morning after 12 weeks. It’s the motivation I needed along with education and psychology - it all just makes sense to me and works works works! Thanks Noom!

Noom offers amazing support, Information, and fun ways to track and gain insight into eating habits. I love the app! I absolutely love the information in the form out they provided in! It is helpful to be able to read posts from other people to see how their journey is going as it provides support and encouragement. I also like that I can. I wish the app allow me to plan out my meals ahead of time. I highly recommend it to anyone who has tried multiple weight loss approaches but hasn’t been able able to keep it off.

First of all the app is extremely hard to navigate and it’s kind of hard find the purpose. The only good part is the recipes. I tried to cancel the app thinking it would be in my subscriptions like my other apps and it wasn’t so I didn’t think twice about it. I used the app the first day and stopped. I was one day late of cancelling my subscription and they would not issue me a refund. They make it extremely difficult on how to find a way to cancel your subscription and they don’t even give you a notice that your 14 days are up. Don’t sign up for this app.

Noom works, but only if you work. It’s the best weight loss tool I’ve found. Very easy to use and motivating.

Customer service does not exist. They auto-renew your subscription even though your account has been inactive for months. No real way to cancel, no refund, no communication or email of auto-renew coming up. They just hit you with the charge and refer you to their FAQ page.
  • Time consuming and overwhelming

I had high expectations of this program. At first I enjoyed it but there was no time to incorporate new practices and thinking before the next approach came up. Daily. It’s daily. I just couldn’t keep up. It exhausted me and just made me feel lacking. Their food database for logging what you ate is going to take a while before it’s usable in a user friendly manner. The one thing that did impress me was that my coach checked in on me after I had not logged in for several days.
  • Love the concept/Annoyed at glitches

Let me first start by saying that I love the concept of Noom and I’ve actually lost 13 pounds. I’m following all the elements and I’ve been successful. I thought I knew a lot about diet but I’ve actually learned a lot from this. But the glitches are pretty annoying especially when you’re paying for it. I also agree with a former comment that you’re not really clear exactly how much you’re paying for it until you get to your bank statement. I would be their biggest cheerleader if it operated more smoothly and there was more transparency about your account. That being said, I have five more pounds to my goal and I couldn’t be happier about that.

Combines science, peer support, and humor, in a unique, fun to use app. I’ve already lost 13 pounds in 4 weeks.

If you choose to subscribe to this app, please review the cancellation policy first. They will not refund any money that has been paid and the auto renew your subscription. Deleing the app will not suffice. I enrolled for six months and the program did not work for me. So I deleted and moved on. The six months later, a $149 charge that I cannot get refunded and cannot dispute, even with my credit card company. The program claims to be very different but it is the same diet advice in a different wrapper. Subscribe with caution.

I think the thing I like best about the Noom app is all the information they give you every day! It’s really interesting information and has made me change the way I think about food.
