  • Had a good time until I realized I hated it

I just wanted to play Tetris, man. I don’t need this cheesy garbage on top of it. No, I will never, ever want to pay you for a “finisher”. What a shame to do this with uh, “the Tetris brand”.
  • Very fun

I have been a Tetris fan since it was on Nintendo BOOM great game nice music too
  • But I have a life...

It’s kind of annoying that I can only get certain power ups that I unlocked if I complete a RIDICULOUS amount of timed challenges. Like even at times when I have nothing to do, I still feel like it’s a lot. Also, you can’t go more than two days without playing because you’ll miss battles and get penalized. It’s not like I’m even getting paid to put in this much dedication to the game so they need to chill. This game has more requirements than the honors classes I had in high school. Smh. I’m not enticed to break out my credit card just to progress in a free app on my phone either. I have over 3 million coins, but I still have to bust my butt for shards 😑 Tetris Blitz would be great for an obsessive game player with loads of free time or who makes a living from real game competitions, but I’m just a regular player. I only have two stars in the gold tier, and one of my challenges is to rank top 5 in 3 tournaments against people who are scoring 20 million points in tournaments. Lol ok Tetris. I didn’t even meet last weeks quest requirements in time because I didn’t know about it until 2 days before it was going to close, but the standards still shot up regardless. I was kind of excited to start playing again, but after seeing this new weekly quest... 😗

Update:1 game keeps crashing and stealing power ups, coins, progress etc... somehow it remembers the coins you used and they’re just gone but won’t remember what your scores were and caused you to lose tournaments and level progress. Come on EA get it together. Pros: The game has a great design and is lots of fun to play. Cons: it quickly becomes annoying when their obvious greed has you paying for every aspect of the game just to be competitive. You may win a couple of tournaments but it won’t last without spending actual money to win. You have to gain “coins” to use the power ups and finishers and once you reach past about level 25 the only finisher worth using takes 80,000 coins and the only power ups able to gain the scores you need to compete at all are 7000-10,000 more coins. You gain about 600-1000 coins with each single player game you play. Occasionally the game will let you watch a 30 second advertisement for one of the developer’s other games and will double your coin haul. You can also win “daily challenges”. The first one is always easy but if you win a couple or maybe all 3 challenges a couple of days in a row the next ones will be almost impossible if not completely impossible to beat. You’re dependent on the computer to drop the power ups you need to win and it will intentionally withhold them or the frenzy mode will run your time out so you can’t win the coins and again try to force you to spend actual real money just to play. I’m at level 85 and at the point where if I don’t spend actual real money on this game I can’t be competitive. I refuse to spend real money on a game just to be able to out score some random person, who may or may not even be real, with nothing in return. The game is lots of fun but the greed of the developers has frustrated me to the point I’m gonna delete the game and go on to something else.
