Coffee Meets Bagel Dating App App Description

We totally get it. You’re tired of wasting time endlessly swiping, browsing, and messaging - only to never hear back. You only want to spend time on relevant, high quality matches. Every day at noon, you‘ll receive potential matches (we call them “Bagels”) preselected for you so you don’t have to swipe all day. Our algorithm takes into consideration both basic criteria like age, height, religion, ethnicity, and more nuanced factors like your social network and interests. Fellas, you will receive highly curated matches preselected for you by our algorithm. For the ladies, you will only be sent Bagels that have already expressed interest and are serious about connecting with you! Why? Because we know your time is extra-precious. :) Once there is a match, we’ll connect you via a private chat room and provide icebreaker questions to get your conversation started. We even follow up to encourage actual dates. For our LGBTQ members: Every day at noon, both men and women will receive potential matches preselected just for you. CMB PREMIUM: Become a CMB Premium subscriber and get access to exclusive features that will help you save time, eliminate ghosting, and lead to more dates! With the Premium subscription, you will get insights into all of your Bagels’ chat activity levels (i.e. How likely are they to send the first message?), see when your messages to your Bagels are read, and receive more than $50 worth of in-app items that will help you get connected even faster. Current price for the CMB Premium subscription varies based on the length of your auto-renewing subscriptions and may vary from country to country. • Algorithm designed to get you to pay

    By Please not be taken
The algorithm that determines your match suggestions is very clearly designed to get the user to purchase better match suggestions. You’re sent a limited amount of match suggestions every day at noon that you can match or pass for free. The free match suggestions have consistently been people who are overweight, have facial tattoos, piercings or other qualities that would attracted more “passes” than “matches” while the people you find under discover are consistently very attractive (the people who cost money to match with). This tells me that the profiles you have to pay to match with are either fake profiles or they are selected by an algorithm that picks people who have a higher percentage of “matches” over “passes”. In other words, the people who have been more desired by others cost money to match with and the people who are least desired are free to match with. That’s my observation
  • Notification overload

    By Dani_EG
I never know when I have a "real" notification, I've come to just ignore the app icon badge.
  • Some upsides, some drawbacks

    By rporth
Would be nice to get matches instead of potentials
  • It works!

I know people who met the one in here. Have no complaints and can’t wait to meet her too

I️ find that the guys I️ connect with on CMB are more genuine and more on target for what I’m looking for than other online dating sites.
  • Help or I'm deleting it

    By @tayinsanity
I just joined and I went to go edit my profile and it won't let me fix my age! It has it set at 28 and I'm not. It looked like it was going to be a good app until this.
  • My experience with this app

    By Sparxly
It’s different in a good way
  • Very disappointed

    By nickiegirl28
I’m very disappointed in this app. Not really a lot of options and it seems like many of my connections are being “deleted because of suspicious activity” also I noticed many of the military guys are overseas and want to connect with you other ways or their profiles are duplicates but with different pictures. Doesn’t seem like cmb does a good job confirming information on people. Scary to know they really aren’t doing their job so you could be talking to anyone....
  • Not worth the time

    By maleahy8
Horrible app that has terrible marketing. The "bean" deal is a joke & when you sign in your beans are all mysterious gone and you have to pay to get more. Not worth it and they don't listen to your preferences anyway
  • Too expensive for what you get

    By RustyShacklef0rd
I like everything about this app except the pay structure. I’m sorry, but having to pay $5 on average just to hope that the other person is willing to pay $5 in order to do something as basic as send a message is ridiculous. It’s borderline gambling. There are some very interesting people on here, but you have to pay a lot to really give this app a chance.
