Metronome: Tempo Lite App Description

Tempo, the premier metronome app for iOS is now available as this free Lite version. Tempo was featured as "New and Noteworthy" and "Staff Favorite" by Apple on the main iTunes landing page. Now you can enjoy Tempo's core features before upgrading to its full suite of features. Tempo Lite's engine is written from the ground up for high accuracy and stability. It keeps going even in device lock mode, making it a useful aid for live drumming. As a special treat, we've included the Tracker Module which helps in your practices by tracking the number of bars or time played. As opposed to purchasing Tempo, upgrading Tempo Lite nets you a dark colour scheme for the flipside views (instead of light). Visit for demo videos. • Battery waste

    By thwjrhehe
This app totally killed my phone battery despite me never opening it. It isn’t worth purchasing...
  • If it’s good enough for my guitar instructor...

    By JustPlainRobyn
I’m taking guitar lessons and my guitar instructor uses it with me at EVERY lesson (whether I want to practice with it or not) and now I use it too! Thanks! Great app!
  • No customer service

    By Virgie711
They will gladly take your money but never respond to any emails. Been trying to get a response from these people for over a year now.
  • Very good!

The app works very well and does all I want it to. There are also no ads which is also very nice. Thx devs! -Claire
  • Amazing!

I play the flute, and I am always having trouble keeping the tempo of the music, especially playing new music. But while using this app, I have no more problems. This app also is very easy to use and self explanatory from the beginning. It’s also free! I would definitely recommend this.
  • It’s great but...

Every time I open an update pops up and it is super annoying I wish it would ask that if very other week not every day Otherwise I love this app The sound quality is good and I can easily count rhythms now!! Love it!! (。◕‿◕。)
  • Purchased the full version but still a bit disappointed

    By Changgeng
One feature would be very helpful is to have a way to modify the accent on e, &, a. This would be ideal for practicing double stroke roll.
  • It’s an app

If you have someone to show you how the app works you could do amazing things with it.
  • Getting frustrated

    By Songbirdie123
I realize there is a paid upgrade available, but it’s really annoying that I cannot open the app without going through their ads for their own upgrade. I’m a pro musician so I use my metronome app frequently but there are several with the features I need and I’m approaching the frustration level where I may make a switch. If they were less aggressive about the upgrade, I would look into it on my own time and consider it, but when it greets me multiple times throughout my practice day and gets in the way of my work it comes off the wrong way.
  • ok but....

i mean it works as it’s supposed to but it really frustrates me when i’m trying to get to the tempo i want and i lightly press and hold the button then lift it off and then it starts increasing or decreasing rapidly when i just want it to go up in 10 intervals when i hold it
