  • Unable to edit files in the Cloud

When I want to edit a file from Files, Dropbox, or Google Drive, I can’t directly open the file in Excel. I have to create a copy of the file, save it directly on my device through Excel, edit it, export the new file back to Files/Dropbox/Google Drive, and then delete the spare file off of my device. Please reconsider this hamfisted approach to trying and failing to get people to use only OneDrive. I’ll be using Google Sheets in the interim.

I am only using my iPad and iPhone lately. This does not seem to transfer data from iPad to cell. Inconvenience at best.
  • I pad version

I have been using the Excel app on my I pad for a few years now and have a love hate relationship with it. Love the spread sheet capabilities, but sometimes I need the grid lines and cannot for the life of me get them to print. Tried everything that they recommend , but not luck. Sometimes, I make a spread sheet and can't print part of the sheet, especially if the address is in blue, so I have to go in and change it to black and even then, it sometimes doesn't work unless I e mail it to myself and then print. They should send some updates that actually work.

I love this. It works great. I wish VBA would work too. Can’t have it all
  • You can’t manipulate and control data?!?!

The whole reason I bought this was to be able manage mass amounts of data and all it does is filter and sort and run formulas.....what if I have 30 cells of data in a column on sheet with 900 lines that are redundant. If you are 13 and need a pie graph on the number of kids in your school who play sports vs are in the band. I highly recommend it. If you have a job that requires the organization of data across 1000’s of lines and 20 columns stay away from this juvenile app designed for science fair and 3rd grade book reports.

The app has enough functionality to be helpful. Using a phone to create or edit isn’t ideal but this will do the trick in a pinch.

I’m glad to have it, BUT,,, the Mac version is a pain, the iOS version is barely above “Read Only” capability. This is sooo much harder to use than the Windows version, which is pathetic in its self compared to Lotus 123. 1, It won’t stand still. EVERY time I touch the screen, it moves to a different column and/or raw.NOT a good thing. 2. I can’t find “settings” so am not able to change irritating processes, such as the cursor moving down one cell every time you hit “enter”. 3, How/can you do conditional formatting? Etc, etc, etc.
  • Uploads consistently fail with no explanation

The upload keeps failing, and it won’t tell me why. It only offers to save a copy which then fails to upload the next time I save it. I’m also having trouble editing the spreadsheets. Sometimes it works, most times it doesn’t.
