Microsoft PowerPoint App Reviews

  • Watch support is terrible

    By Spinescape
Getting the Apple Watch to work as a remote for PowerPoint doesn’t work nine times out of 10
  • Does not have function it should have.

    By MadisonDV
I had to get an iPad for school and this was one of the apps required. I have to use this for multiple things and I am very disappointed. I cannot use my Bluetooth keyboard to control when presenting and I cannot save power points to my Dropbox. I have tried to do this many times with many different presentations. If I didn’t need to use this app for school I would delete it does not do anything basic that it should.
  • Wow...

I was in school on my laptop there making a PowerPoint. I opened it twice, all good and a lot of work done, and at home on a different laptop I opened PowerPoint and nothing but two slides with barely ANYTHING saved! And the project is due today!!! Thanks, Microsoft, thanks. 😑
  • I can’t type

I have trouble having PP to recognize my keyboard. Also, I can’t seem to get the cursor to relocate in the middle of a word for correcting the spelling. I do love the insert capability for phots. Overall it is pretty good. But to w rite this review I have to detach mt keyboard and have the electronic keypad appear on the screen. randy c

  • Not Letting Me Type

    By oliveguava
This app seems really good. It seems like the ideal app for school presentations. However, when I double tap to try to edit text, the keyboard doesn't come up, so I can't type anything. I'll just use Google Slides instead. Please fix this issue.
  • Perfect for making memes on the go!

    By cheeseant
If I had a penny for every time I needed a meme for a conversation I could afford Microsoft pro! Well now with the PowerPoint app I can slap together dank memes in seconds!
  • No Free Program?

    By Crystal!!:);(
I believe PowerPoint is a great program for school, and probably your only option if you want a presentation that looks sophisticated. That being said, I’m disappointed there is no partial version for free.
  • Terrible File Handling

    By GoogleTool
It’s nice to be able to see PowerPoint file on my iPad. However, attempts to edit them are fraught with difficulty. Particularly annoying is the way the App handles cursor placement and navigation. But my greatest concern is the way this App (and all other MS Office Apps for iOS) handle files. MS has clearly structured file management to favor One Drive. Files can be opened from and saved to One Drive without difficulty. Any other file location is a problem. For example, my attempts to open files from Google Drive lead to files that are Read Only and for which I must Save A Copy. When trying to Save A Copy, with a different name, the operation Cannot Be Completed if the destination is Google Drive. Sick.
