I love anything universe related!! This app is the better than night sky. Aesthetically pleasing and the music is more pleasing to me it really does immerse me into the app and when reading I feel like I’m in my own world learning more about various stars I never knew existed. I just wish the supermassive portion was cheaper but regardless I’m never taking this app off my phone!!!!

I selected this app specifically for the integrated dark sky finder. My understanding was to really enjoy stargazing, one must be in a “dark sky” location. So, my first move was to locate a dark sky area near me but the feature was not readily accessible. I had to email fir support. However, support was excellent as I got a response within hours. I really appreciated that. I would have given 5 stars if only they would make the dark sky locator accessible from the home page. I would still recommend this app to everyone.

I love this app. It maps the sky and shows all of the constellations and you can tap on stars and it tells you about them and shows novas and more deep in space. It shows what is below the horizon and will be rising and the music to is really nice. Thanks guys

Recent news says Teegarden has been studied for years but it’s not searchable. This, coupled w adding spaceX starlink litter is just more propaganda in app form.

as an astronomy enthusiast this was the perfect app! i live in a highly light-polluted area so seeing what i might be able to see is really interesting and has helped me memorize and pick out constellations. i have very few complaints, but i think i may have found a glitch. i played around with the years, and went back to -8000, in which at 6/18 10:55 A.M. the moon is seen to be enormous. i’m not sure what’s happening, as on other days near the -8000 mark it is seen as extremely small. weird glitches, i assume!

Wonderful, easy to use app. So much info, beautiful graphics. I’m hoping the developer reads this and can tell me what the awesome music is called, so I can see if I can download it in iTunes.
  • Needs telescope goto

I have 20 or so Astro apps. I deleted most and use skysafari pro now. It’s best for viewing and I can tap a target and my telescope will point at the target. On the other hand it’s a lot higher priced than this app. So for the price this may be a better value? If your viewing with out a telescope this is an awesome app I had to buy it. I will try the 20 a year upgrade but really for me it needs telescope goto. :-( I stumbled into the filters in this app. Very cool. I shoot most ha and OIii. The ha is neat but appears soft (out of focus) to bad you have to use a soft deep sky survey. The satillite tracking looks awesome. Very well done for the price. I’d love to see a pro upgrade with more tools for Astro imagers I’m torn on rating because it’s 5 stars for the price. But four or three stars in features. Still I recommend you get it if on the fence!!!
