  • Convenient and simple

Easy to use. I love being able to change the “theme” depending on our needs at the time. It makes meal planning much more enjoyable.
  • Best dinner planning app ever

I have been a customer of eMeals for probably close to 10 years. I used to print the menu and shopping list and head to the store, which was handy enough, BUT They have kept up with the times and now this app is so easy to use, put a meal on your plan and automatically creates a shopping list. Lots of yummy ideas and special diet options. Love it!

  • Can’t get in for the life of me???

I tried to sign up for the plan on the website, but it kept saying my card zip code was wrong. After calling my bank, they say it’s on the website’s end. No sweat, I get that sometimes online payments can be tricky. So I try downloading the app and doing it on there. It was totally fine accepting Apple Pay and charging me, but it would either crash the app or never let me log in. I even tried resetting my password 3 times and it never sent me the emails (and yes, I checked ALL the folders). I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I really wanted to try the service but I guess I have to go somewhere else. I hope the site/app improves eventually!
  • Game changer

I now have mental space available to do something other than think about what is for lunch and supper 7 days a week. Plus, it’s super easy to use!! Saves me money because I don’t go into the store and keeps me healthy because I don’t buy any of the junk. The quick and healthy plan is truly a 30-min meal option.
  • Great app and service

It would be nice though if pictures are provided.
  • Not meant for people in the heartland or food deserts

    By Brtc2011
This app does not help low to middle class families living in food deserts save money on meals. One recipe called for champagne vinegarette which my stores do not carry and would cost me $14 on the low end on amazon. If you live in California where you have access to everything within your means go for it, but this is isn’t practical for working class folk in the heartland.
  • Free trial not free

Even if you cancel they will steal your money. App is portly designed and terrible to navigate. Plus they stole $60 from my account tonight. Guess I will have to sacrifice eating so my wife and son can. That was over half my grocery budget. Update. They responded on dec 6 and not the next day. They only offered a number to call 2 months later. Do not agree to a false free trial. His company is strictly designed to take your money without remorse or care. I really wish Dave Ramsey would reevaluate his recommendation of this company based on their recent tactics. If you read the reviews I am not the only one they had ripped off of this fashion.

  • Hard to cancel (maybe not... read for update)

I keep coming back to eMeals every couple years, and each time I just don’t stick with it. I’m lucky to have one meal a week I would consider making (picky kids), even on the family/kid friendly plans. It’s not easy to cancel and that’s what I’m working on now. I don’t remember it being so challenging in the past to cancel, but I had a harder time finding the area in my account where there was an option to cancel, and even then— I couldn’t cancel online, it makes you call customer support to cancel. Disappointed! ————- Update: I called customer support begrudgingly to cancel, and I reached someone quickly, and it was easy to cancel. Also, since my quarterly renewal just paid two days ago, I asked if I could get a refund (didn’t have much hope they would, it was my fault I didn’t call sooner) but she was willing to refund the renewal I had just been billed. Fingers are crossed all is actually cancelled and I receive the refund in 1-2 business days.
