Chronicle - Bill Manager App Description

The easiest, fastest bill manager in the App Store. A universal app for iPhone & iPad, with multitasking on iPad. iCloud sync works across all iOS devices plus Mac with the available Mac version. If you pay bills, you need Chronicle. Here's why: A single late payment can cost you $30 or more and cause your credit score to plummet by up to 100 points. Chronicle reminds you to pay your bills, so you can just enter them, and forget about them. Plus, Chronicle syncs with the available Mac version via iCloud, so you can view and pay your bills everywhere. In addition to reminding you to pay your bills, Chronicle keeps track of all your payment history, including confirmation numbers, so you always have proof of payments. New to Chronicle is the Pro version. Available as an in-app purchase, Chronicle Pro gives you access to all new features of Chronicle as they are updated. Currently available features in Chronicle Pro: Forecast View: See the future—see what will be due every month for a year in advance. Amount to Save: Stop bills from sneaking up on you. Many bills don’t repeat every month: for these bills, Chronicle will calculate how much you need to set aside each month so that you have enough to pay it when it comes due. For example, you may have an auto insurance bill of $500 that is due every 6 months. Chronicle will calculate that you need to set aside $83.33 each month in order to have enough to pay the bill each time it is due. Intelligent Estimated Amount Due: Helps you know how much will be due for bills that vary. Using the type of bill, your payment history, and the time of year, Chronicle will intelligently calculate an estimate of how much is due. For example, Chronicle will be able to learn if your electric bills are higher or lower in the winter, and estimate accordingly. Chronicle Pro is an auto-renewing subscription for $3.99 per year. Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours prior end of the subscription, and will renew at $3.99 per year. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. You may cancel or disable your subscription by going to your App Store Account Settings after purchase. You can find the privacy policy and terms of use for Chronicle Pro here:

Chronicle - Bill Manager App Reviews

  • Amazing app for Mac, not so amazing for iOS

    By Heather Cooey
In the iOS version, If you are paying off a credit card, there is no way to tell the balance you have left on that bill. Such a simple thing that is part of the Mac version and seriously needs to be added to the iOS version. Until then, 3 stars.
  • Works Great - Just What I Wanted

Widget need work. The rest is pretty polished and flawless, iPhone/iPad/Mac.
  • Simple, works great

I’ve been using this app for years to track my bills. I have the Mac app too and it syncs between my iPhone and Mac and iPad over iCloud. It’s easy to enter and edit bills and see past payments. It automatically shows you what is coming up and you can set reminders. I sometimes forget when a bill is due, so it’s handy to be able to see quickly on my phone via the app or my calendar. I like to keep my records on my computer at home, but if I’m out and remember I need to pay something I can log it on my phone and it will sync to my computer so my records are complete. I like that the interface is simple and not cluttered with ads. I like that I can see the history of what I’ve paid overtime, it is an easy way to notice unexpected charges. I’ve had some issues with sync lag since the app switched from Dropbox to iCloud sync but lately that has improved.
  • Great!!

Love this app. I used a similar app for years and it was not updated and would no longer work. I looked and looked for a new one and finally settled on one that was marginal. I used it for a while and then found Chronicle. I love it. It works perfectly and is very easy to use and set up. I love the fact I can go straight to the payment site right out of Chronicle. I like the forecast and notes on each bill. I also like the ability to put in credit cards with zero balance and the payment does not have to be the same each month. I paid for the pro version right away. Thank you for a great and simple app.
  • Needs more customizable fields

I like the interface. One can see the entire month instead of the Apple scroll wheels. Should have user defineable categories. Cannot add notes while creating the bill item but can edit and do so later.

  • Doesn’t sync between devices

My iPhone has the most updated bills. iPad Pro won’t sync with iCloud. I went through all the steps to fix it and nothing. This is a otherwise great App.
  • Was a great app

I love this app but am now forced to skip through intro every time I open the app - very annoying. Why did you break a perfectly good app? Update: Problem fixed. Thank you.
  • Excellent bill manager

Fantastic bill manager. Pro version is a subscription which I can do without. However 3.99 a year is not horrific.
  • Great monthly bill tracker

    By Leoperales
Finally I found a useful bill tracker. I get paid once a month and this bill tracker works great to let me know how much money I still need to have in order to pay my bills. You can tap on the tag on the top to see ONLY the bills for the current month. Initial input only takes a few minutes, especially if you have all your bill information beforehand, which I did. (I was keeping this in a Numbers spreadsheet.) Easy to mark bills as paid in the app, and thereafter enter the transaction in your checkbook. Kudos to the developer.
