  • Pricing is ridiculous

The app doesn't have enough features or depth to charge the extremely high prices that are offered for subscription options. Please adjust so that more people can have access to this wonderful app. 🙏🏻
  • A Must.

I’m a high school student, a little bit depressed and always anxious—around people, at work. I downloaded Calm about a year ago, and it has really helped me compartmentalize my stressful thoughts, and forget about them when I need to. Before bed, or before or during homework is a great time for it. I don’t really feel safe at school in the sense that there is not a place to hide or be by myself when I am feeling overwhelmed, but the nature audio (which is free) helps me zone out during class, or lunch, or passing period when I’ve got my headphones. I also have a younger sibling who doesn’t fall asleep when she’s supposed to. Calm has these stories for children (and adults, I believe) and sleep talkdowns also in the app, which I put on for her. It always works. I introduced the app to my friends and my mom and so far everyone has had a use for it. A lot of my apps I lose a purpose for and end up deleting them for space—Calm is not one of those. It’s got a wide variety of uses, great technical support who listen to feedback, and best of all it’s given me peace of mind.
  • Scam. Data grab.

It’s a scam. You have to give up an email address or connect by Facebook (and we all know how safe that is) before you see it will cost $60 for whatever this supposedly life-changing content is.

I’ve never been a meditator and although I tried it years ago, I didn’t like it. But something about this APP, the speaker’s voice and the content of the messages are proving to be perfect for me. Maybe I was just ready? I strongly recommend giving this a try. Really, who can’t spare 10-12 minutes a day to be more grounded, relaxed and joyful? Bonus: I’m sleeping better!
  • I can’t get past the voice

There is so much to like about this app with all the soothing sounds and visuals, but the meditation is awful and I use another app for that. As another reviewer stated it’s like she’s reading to a child with all the up and down inflections. And I stress the word reading. It doesn’t sound like she’s speaking naturally and makes me believe they hired someone with no meditation background to read a script. I find that very distracting and I can’t get through a meditation without being annoyed.

The app is great i love the sleep story section but the price is not for everyone (not for me either) + we deserve the right to choose subscription monthly instead of a year which is a long commitment
