  • Excellent and well integrated

One of the earlier Password Vaults that had the foresight to anticipate such a need. Needless to say 1PASSWORD has made my life so much easier to control the vast number of passwords required in this wired world. It has never let me down and with the Apple Watch integration I can utilize it anywhere. It has been an excellent and very secure program that seamlessly can be incorporated very nicely with web browser's including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Explorer.

Passwords keep increasing in number. Thought the brain is plastic, I welcome one hard wired circuit for this program rather than paper for the hundreds of minor and frequently used passwords. ⛵️
  • Amazing App

This App is very easy to use and the pro version has every option you might need for important document storage.
  • Was great

I used to love this app, but hate it now. The problem is how horrible they now treat the Mac side of the app. Their support is just as bad. I wish I could give it a lower score because 1 is generous.
  • 1Password has poor instructions

  • Life saver!

Keeps getting better! Switched from standalone to subscription last year and glad I did. Much easier to manage multiple vaults, family members, etc. Highly Recommend!! Suggestion for iOS app. Would be nice to be able to sort logins by date created, so latest is on top.

AgileBits should know better than this. A local secure storage vault with third party API-based sync capabilities was the best position this app could ever be in. An app like this has no reason to move to a subscription model. They have crossed the line. I also have the desktop (app store) version 6 of the app, and although they mention on their web site that it's possible to have a standalone license, they do not explain how to get one in much detail. Everything is an attempt to push you to spend more monthly than you already do, by engaging in their membership. Their web site tries to explain the reason for a subscription-based model basically by telling you that either a) (indirectly/much paraphrased) you're probably too stupid to configure third-party (e.g. DropBox) syncing, or b) (also indirectly) that they found it more valuable to charge you to auto-configure your jonx than to document clearly and thoroughly how to set up said third-party services. A GOOD solution for this would have been to introduce a new user experience for each platform's version of the app that asks you some basic questions: a) are you using this with more than one device? b) (if yes), which sync service do you use? c) etc. They could even provide a mechanism for auto-configuration by temporarily storing Platform A's app configuration on a server with a one-time password, and retrieving it on Platform B. Boom -- platform B now has the correct third-party sync setup. Let's be honest: though many people use multiple devices, their devices don't come and go so frequently as to necessitate a subscription service to manage a single app's sync configurations on all of them. I would be fine buying new versions of the app for major releases in the traditional model. They do provide the traditional standalone model, but their justifications for a new major release (6->7) and the associated full-blown price are rather weak: a dark-colored sidebar, redesigned mini window, etc. Frankly they made fixes to the previous lacking design. I fear that their subscription model (if enough people engage) will give them an excuse to raise the major version number and charge full license fees more frequently for what are actually minor changes. My assessment so far is that the most major changes in v7 are actually under-the-hood support for their new membership model and syncing. These things don't really apply to those who wish to buy standalone licenses. If you already have v6 and better contrast and design in the app seem worth ~$50 to you, have at it.

I have used 1Password since they released their first version. I have paid for multiple versions for myself my family and my business. I like the way 1Password looks and I used to love how it worked. However, for some time now I have different passwords on my Mac than on my iOS devices they’re all synced to the same account, I’ve tried iCloud and Dropbox to sync and it’s been a royal pain. 1Password support is very bad, slow to respond (days) and all they do is push their new subscription service. I’m very disappointed with 1Password and they’re lack of support to long time users.
