  • Seemingly no longer works

This app used to give me notifications all the time. Now, I no longer am informed of interesting items nearby. This is a shame, I wish the app would be updated so that it continues to work. I really enjoyed previous versions.
  • NOT about women making history

Ok, I downloaded this app because it was touted by media as being a key to learn about women making history. I haven't been able to find one spot that matches this. So far, it's crappy restaurants no one around me likes! Stop the BS, show me stuff that I ACTUALLY want to know, about the history of my area... Particularly the female history of my neighborhood. If I wanted this crap, is open "Yelp".
  • Wonderful resource for rural areas and tourism

This app is a wonderful resource for rural areas and tourism! It’s fantastic to have access to info that is typically only available through historical societies. I’m using it in a new town I’ve moved to recently so I can explore more about the new area I call home.
  • Was a nice app

When exploring a new area it was pretty good. I just tried to use it and it told me “location services not available”. So it’s stuck on the last place I used it. I’m sure Apple broke it. 🤨
  • Horrible App

    It’s made by Niantic, so...
  • Useful and Interesting

Anything that's literally off-the-beaten-path nature-wise that I like visiting seems to have a Field Trip card helping to explain: what something is, who made it "visitable," how it formed, other history and why it's worth going there to see it now. Plain and simple. A search function would be nice though.
  • Useless

App simply doesn’t work. Has never shown any activities or places to go near me in any of the places I have been traveling. Don’t waste your time
  • Images ?? What am I looking for/at

    By ISC zippy
The images I should be looking at must be purchased. And that’s it difficult to find the location of some long ago site that has been built over.
  • Only works by detecting your location

There is no way to enter a location to search, so you can't use the app to plan field trips ahead of time when traveling. I'm not comfortable sharing my location with most apps, anyways, so I would much prefer to enter a location by hand, even when I'm at or near my own house.
  • Good app but needs updates

I appreciate this app but wish it would push all the additions from the Historical Marker Database rather than just pick and choose which ones to add.
