  • HORRIBLE!

This app is HORRIBLE!!! Every single time I try to connect my phone to my camera, the app completely freezes and I have to force quit. It's extremely frustrating and the app itself is far from user friendly. It's slow and definitely doesn't do what it says it's supposed to do. Don't waste your time or your patience.

It keeps asking me to turn my Bluetooth on when it’s already on!! Did you guys not test this before publishing the new version?

So I used to use my Go Pro Hero 4 session on this app and it worked great. I tried to use it yesterday and also today and still am unable to connect my Go Pro to the application. I have “ “forgotten” the WiFi network from the Go Pro and then tried to connect again. That didn’t work. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing has worked. I keep getting stuck on the screen that tells me that I need to go connect the WiFi in my phone settings. So I do that and make sure it’s connected. Go back to the Go Pro app and a pop up comes up saying, “Oops, that didn’t work. There was a problem; try reconnecting to your camera’s WiFi in your iPhone’s settings.” And I am given the options “Get Support” or “Got it!” I have tried both options. Can’t find any new support on it... I have already followed all of the steps listed. Multiple times. My iPhone is also up to date and I have an iPhone 8 Plus. I really hope this gets fixed soon or else I don’t know what to do with my Go Pro.

  • Please change that hideous icon

Not a bad app. A bit buggy and slow, but really convenient to use with various GoPros and manage content on the go. But please redesign that app icon. It's completely hideous. Even just a simple GoPro logo on a black background would look better than that.

I am new to the go pro community and this app makes everything so much easier only down side is hevc which doesn’t allow me to see my 4K 60fps recordings on my phone and I have to download it to my phone in order to see it which usually takes more than double of the time that the actual recording was

I like the app but it’s hard as hell to get videos to transfer from go pro to phone.

I’m a GoPro user since the first in 2004 and I always loved every single one and is easy to use.
  • Why I hate the GoPro app

I “hate” the GoPro app because it has worked before and done a great job but sometimes I try to connect and it just doesn’t connect no matter how many times I turn WiFi/apps on and off or the camera on and off it won’t connect I’m very disappointed
