  • Pretty disappointing.

This app is not well done at all. The pencil thickness is fixed and can’t be adjusted and is quite thin — colouring in is just arduous and very hard for a little person. I suspect the app was not designed with Retina macbooks in mind and the pencil thickness is set at 10px or something — quite thin in retina terms. It also doesn’t launch very well — it doesn’t launch at all on my MacBook Air, and on my MacBook Pro, it causes OS X to log out sometimes! Clearly pretty buggy.
  • Works pretty well

This app is best if you have a pet tablet. It contains lots of drawings that you can color. The only colors you can use are the ones they offer (22 shades) and they only come in one width (about 10 pixels wide). There is an eraser. I would suggest a few things. Allow the user to pick a custom color or, allow the colors to blend on the page. The other suggestion is to clip the coloring to the area where you first clicked. I have seen this in other drawing programs, and it is super helpful for people like my son who are all over the place.

Can't seem to get this one to launch. Disappointing.
