You can see if your device is connected properly by checking under Settings. If Bluetooth is enabled on your device, this app will also collect your precise location information through beacon technology in order to improve your in-park experience, such as wait times. To facilitate the sign-in process, the app will also require access to your email address, stored within Account Manager. This app will request access to your camera to scan credit cards for purchases, link tickets and passes to your account, and scan and link PhotoPass cards.   • Overall a Quintessential app for any Disney Adventure

    The interactive map, mobile food purchase, and fast pass link makes this a must download for any Disney Adventure. I give five stars alone for all the lines I was able to skip simply by purchasing on my phone and walking to the front to pick up my meal. With two children 5 and 2 and another on the way, this time-savings truly added up quickly. My only complaint was with intermittent connection issues the map, arguably my most important application for the product. Overall, absolutely necessary to download the app in order to get the most out of the experience and really, that’s the point.

  • Hit or miss if it actually works

    I love the app for the convenience, but recently the information isn’t accurate. I couldn’t see my reservations or my fast passes at all. Very annoying since I would log into the web site and there they were.

    This is a good app to use even if your not going to the parks because then you can get information on some things the only thing is that they should at least update the menus if they change because I heard that there was a new item on one of the restaurants in animal kingdom but it’s not listed on the app

    We checked into hotel yesterday. Ask if we needed to do anything to our wrist bands. NO. Everything is ready to go. Call front office to ask if we needed to take a credit card or anything. NO Get to Magic Kingdom and our wrist bands don’t work. Go to guest relations and they ask for ID. We didn’t bring anything with us. 1st mistake— resort should have told us to do SOMETHING to our bands. 2nd mistake— front desk should have told us to take ID. NOT A GOOD WAY TO START OUR MAGICAL TRIP.

    App is hard to move around in. Would like Fast Pass notification. After using first 3 FastPasses, unable to schedule last 2 due to app failure. Constantly had to login over and over which was annoying. I like the memory maker photo messages that we have a new photo available yet it wasn't consistent. Needs to show meal plan info on credit balance info, snack balance, etc. Shouldn't have to go to a vendor for that info. There are a lot more should've, would've, could've items for this app but I can see where Disney is headed. Disney itself is not the same. Went 30 years ago and was in awe of the cleanliness of the park, friendliness of the employees, how the characters stayed true to their character's traits, etc. Just got back in Jan 2018 and was disappointed. Bathrooms were disgusting. Railings, walls and rides were not cleaned. Lines were long and rides were short. Employees were not as friendly (my daughter's first trip, got the first trip button and only 1 employee acknowledged it). Found a few park photographers who weren't taking pics of anyone and they seemed annoyed that we asked them to photo us. Food was eh and was way overpriced. Characters for the most part were not in character with the exception of Tinker Bell, Snow White and Ariel. Hotel room was small and not fantastic in any way (Port Orleans -Riverside). Buses were overfull and had to stand on most bus rides to/from hotel. Just seemed like we were just a mere number in the crowd and not there for a magical experience. If this is corporate greed taking over, look for Disney's magic to become a thing of the past. Bring back the Disney magic!!!
  • Another botched update

    This app was great 2 years ago when I planned my last WDW vacation, aghast to see what's become of it. Similar to HULU, they fixed what wasn't broken. I can see my wishlist on the website, but where is it in the app? Why the confusing ribbon across the top no one asked for? Everything seems to want to show you its location on the map even if I didn't ask for that. It seems I will have to plan my next trip over the phone and on a desktop website. Major fail.
