I love this but for people who are confused of the unclear directions here they are: 1. Go to the stop motion studio app. 2. Click on your project 3. Click the camera icon near the right 4. Scroll to WiFi icon it should say remote camera 5. Press configure 6. Erase all the stuff the wrote write in the configure box that should come up 7. Get another device 8. Download this app on it 9. Go on the app and click the WiFi icon 10. Switch devices 11. Go to type in the configure box the code thing it shows you on the device with the remote app 12. Press control 13. Place the device with the remote app as the camera 14. Use the device with stop motion app as remote and click the red button to take pictures as usual 15. Your welcome!!!!!
  • Thought it was a remote app

I thought it was going to be a remote for the app (so you could take pictures without touching and making your camera wobble), however it’s a remote camera which doesn’t really help (at least what I was hoping to do). I am taking pictures and using the studio on an iPad and would like to press a button on my iPhone to have it take the picture. As it stands now I would have to switch to editing on iPhone which would be more annoying or somehow transfer all the pictures from the iPhone to the iPad, or buy a tripod for the iPhone. It’s not the that it’s a bad app only not useful like this for my situation.

  • Awesome concept but image quality suffers

I haven't experienced some of the problems I've seen posted here. The app has been stable and worked every time I've used it. I run the Remote Camera app on my iPhone 7 and start Stop Motion Pro on my iPad. My iPad sees my iPhone over wifi no problem. However, the image quality sent to my iPad is so low when compared to the original image my phone could take that its just not usable. I wish there were some way of setting image quality on the remote camera app... both devices are connected via 802.11 ac so I can't image it would take long to transmit the original quality photo. I tried to contact them via their website and the site provided within the App Store but there is no way to actually email a person. All links are to FAQ.
