Rhythm Calculator - Advanced rhythm trainer and metronome App Description

"A gem of an app I guarantee will live on my phone for quite some time, and I suspect that’ll be true for you other iOS device-carrying folks as well." - notreble.com ---------------------------------------- Rhythm Calculator is for any musician. Whether you are just starting to learn an instrument, practising more advanced pieces, or have been composing for years, this is the app for you. For music teachers, this is a valuable teaching aid and can help improve the quality of your students’ practice sessions. Save the rhythm for a future practice session. A great tool to have in your pocket! With a simple and familiar calculator-style user interface, inputting rhythm is a breeze. Hit the ‘=‘ button to hear the rhythm played back repeatedly so that you can play along. • Not worth 2.99

It would maybe be fine for a free app, not incredibly useful
  • Disappointed

I got the app thinking it would be a great easy way to practice . I have already been on it for 40 min trying to put In a simple quarter note triplet rhythm and no luck. Don't get this app ! You're better off with a cup of coffee.
  • A bargain!

    Easy and effective
  • Waste of money!

It is incredibly hard to use, and skips most beats.
  • Exactly what I was looking for

Great app for my rhythm training class. Everything is laid out for you. It took me a second to figure out how to get back to the screen where I could erase notes, but it didn't take long to find out how. Highly recommended for music students!
  • It's great

I use it all the time as a high school music student learning new rhythms in class
  • Abandoned by developer

The last update was in 2014. The bug page is 404. It does work and it is the only app I cans find that does what it does so I live with the flaws. The biggest being that you cannot edit a rhythm. Used to be able to move the cursor and delete and insert. Now cursor is stuck on left. Also, other than a fast paced video there are no instructions iR help. This has so much potential if only the developer would update it.
  • WAS Awesome

This is the best app ever, or rather it was...but it desperately needs to be updated! PLEASE update this amazing tool!!
  • Rest Reversal

I really like this app so far, I was looking for a tool to help with rhythms since I'm a few years out of practice from playing my instrument and for the most part this app fits the bill. The reason I gave it two stars is that the half and whole note rests are reversed. I was able to figure this out and move on, but I've read music for 15 years. For someone who is just learning music and looking for help those rests are hard to tell apart and this app would be teaching them the wrong thing. Gotta fix those whole and half note rests.
  • Perfect for new drummers

As a new drummer I find this useful and easy to use
