  • Good app just crappy company

    By Christianconnections
I bought this app for $9 a couple years ago. Now they are charging per month for the same features. Bad business.
  • Terrible update replaced by even worse

    By conradb212
Latest update: this once great app is now terrible. It has become so sluggish as to be essentially useless (on zoom, 12 full seconds before anything shows on my 12.9-inch iPad Pro). Pop-ups are a big step back. And though I paid for it initially, now it wants monthly payments, too. Very sad. Stay away. Lengthy developer response after this assessment, trying to justify bait-and-switch with some new features, acknowledging sluggishness that they haven’t fixed since the last big “update.” This used to be my go-to weather app. The last update with hi-res radar has made it almost unusable even on a 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Super-slow now, sometimes doesn’t even load.
  • Last update turned a winner into a loser

    By Scoot2mtns
Great app but it’s really not free. With the last update it will only show you what’s happening right now. I can open the door for that. To get any forecast data (i.e., what’s going to happen), you have to buy a subscription. And it’s not clear that will even get you an ad free experience.
  • Last update broke follow me alerting

    By Mark!1954
Taking a cross country trip. Storm shield is my go to app for weather alerts along my route. Except, last update broke this app. Storm shield stays locked on the last location I viewed in apple maps and does not “follow my location”. This used to work great and I heavily relied on this app when on the road. This current bug makes the program useless. I wouldn’t waste my time down loading this app until the developer fixes this problem. I think this bug actually makes the app dangerous to rely on at all. Update: this the response to my ticket I submitted before doing this review. Hi Mark, Thank you for reaching out to the Storm Shield Support Team! I apologize for any inconvenience, the developers have found a bug in the app that is hindering the current location to update accordingly. We hope to have a fix available in a future update of the app. Were you still having an issue deleting your ‘Saved’ locations? I appreciate your time and hope to hear from you! • Ugh

    By beau533
The old version was easy and intuitive. This new version is cumbersome. On top of it, they now want to charge you. There are other weather apps out there that are better and are free to use. Update: even after receiving a nice response from the app developer, I still stand by my original review. End of discussion.
  • Great now that battery issue resolved

    By Hoffmann74
Update: Battery issues fixed. Glad to be able to re-download the app after it being my weather app for 3-4 years.
  • Worst weather app ever!

    By Laf2835
The update is going to cost you a lot if you want the real weather instead of a picture. It also drains your battery to no extent. Turn it on and the iPhone goes down 3% right away. If it is fixed, I still won’t bother. If there was a minus star on here I would give it -5...useless. Way too buggy.
  • Radar where are you

    By App What?
Radar appears to not be working. Both the map and layers are not functioning correctly. UPDATE radar back! Great app.
  • What were they thinking?

    By KDPD01
Wow, they turned the best weather app on iOS to just another money grabbing junk app. It loads slow now and just works like crap now. This used to be a great deal but now I wouldn’t waste my money. Wish I wouldn’t have updated it!
  • The fix is finally here!

Thank You! It was time to get this app right! It's amazing.
