  • Needs another fix

Your ap needs a better way for the user to go back from where they are under Resources (i.e. Matthew Henry commentary) to do a Search, or access Bible. You have to hit the back arrow six (6) times to access the dashboard, and then once you do your search(es) or Bible reading, you have to go through the entire step by step procedure to get back to where you were in the Resource. Extremely time consuming and frustrating. Please, please fix this. I love this ap and have used it every day for years. But the last update was not an improvement.

First the one gripe that I have. I do not like spinning the wheel to get to books chapters and verses. I much prefer pushing them. But I love the free Charles Spurgeon Devotional that comes free. Also have free access to the KJ21 bible. And overall it’s a pleasure to use. I wish that I could copy just parts of the verses instead of the whole verse sometimes but that’s not a big deal. I would definitely recommend if just for the devotional and amount of free bible versions. Please get rid of the wheels though. Thanks and God bless you for providing this much free of charge. I downloaded another app recently and it only had the KJV and it was very costly to add other versions. I usually use the Blue Letter Bible app with this one so that I don’t have to get out of the devotional to look up scripture and go back and navigate to the devotional again. Plus it has push to verse instead of the wheel.
  • Notes Difficulties

And another comment after the last update: nothing regarding my notes below and below some more has been addressed. Please fix the issue. - - - - It continues to crash and the copy and paste feature within the app is not like it used to be. I have so many years of notes in this app. Please fix - see below. - - - It crashed repeatedly on me this morning. I have been using this app for years and have so many notes in it. Please fix the notes issue (see below) and bug that caused it to crash. - - - After last update - my complaint remains. Please bring this back. I make the notes so I can refer to them later. I don't remember when they were created, so if I can't access them when I am reading, they are of no use. This would absolutely be 5 stars If you bring this back. - - - I use the notes feature heavily. Until the last update, I was able to highlight a verse, click on the notes icon, and see my previous notes. Now I am only prompted to create a new note. I don't know when I wrote my previous note(s), so searching for them is not easy. When I am following along in a sermon or discussion, I need to access the notes immediately. Also, I used to be able to copy to the clipboard and insert verses into notes. That feature is gone, too. PLEASE bring these things back!

The only reason I use this particular app is for the NIV dramatized audio. I am a voiceover user. The one thing I wish this app would do is sync the audio bible with the words, so that way you can follow along while listening. This would help alot in reading comprehension since i have to both see & hear the information before i can understand what I’m reading. I learned that in college. It should highlight each word or passage as its being read aloud, & scroll down as its being read so you can follow along. haven’t decided rather I want to pay the $3.99 /mo for plus. while I’ve been considering it just to get rid of the ads, don’t see me using the study notes. especially being sight impaired. my wife & i just read the bible mostly. I also don’t like that you can’t jump to a specific verse like john 3:16. you can jump to John 3 but not 3:16. we don’t like that. otherwise pretty decent app, but because of these issues we use the holy bible by YouVersion more that doesn’t cost $3.99/mo

I downloaded this thinking I could use it offline. Since I couldn’t, there was no reason to keep it. It was deleted.

I’ve used this app for several years, and like it fairly well for a “church Bible.” Except for one major problem: I get it all set up with maybe 3 parallel versions, or a couple versions and another passage open, then I temporarily switch over to another app—maybe a browser—and often when I switch back, my layout resets, and I have to manually restore it from scratch. I can’t live with this. The developers are good folks, but sorry... I’m moving on.
  • Disappointed with the new version

Disappointed in the update. In my opinion the old version was amazing. I could easily do a keyword search and easily copy and paste. This new version does not keyword search very well. It often comes back saying nothing found when I know for sure that word is in the Bible. The new copy paste version that includes the link is a nuisance. Please bring back the old version.
  • Used to be 5 stars until the latest update

I used to LOVE this app. Use it everyday. However, since the latest update I find it miserable searching for scriptures and switching between versions. I’m not sure why you would have made it more difficult. Please change it back. Please
  • Notes with update

UPDATE!! I found if I open parallel views I can take notes on one side and still see scripture on the other side. Not great but at least it's a work a round. I loved the old app, but I can't find a way to see the scripture when I'm taking notes since the update. Very frustrating and disappointing. Please consider a fix for this issue.
