Our repeater locator database is growing daily. Access to the Directory is included for one year then it will be an annual subscription for $9.99, and your subscription works for all platforms.... Each purchase of a new platform advances your annual to a year from that new purchase date. Sub If we do not have your repeaters listed...please do not refund or give us a bad rating...add repeaters at http://add.rfinder.net or request an add or update from the app.. Don't forget LAT/LON (in decimal), use periods as decimals, please. The application accesses our Worldwide Repeater Directory and scanner directory for Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) but only stores information for repeaters within approximately 80 miles (125 km) from your location on your handheld at any one time, saving you room on your device and allowing distance calculation and mapping features to operate smoothly. It uses geolocation either via cell tower triangulation, GPS or manual location entry (so you can look up the repeaters you will use on vacation or business trips, etc.). If anyone has lists of Amateur Radio repeaters from their countries we would love to incorporate that into our database. Worldwide IRLP and Echolink nodes. © ITWeRKS 2011

  • Customer service is all but non existent

For the first few weeks the app worked great and I was actually very happy with it. However, it eventually stopped working all together. I open the app and nothing appears in the list. I’ve tried messing with settings to get results in the list and nothing works. I reached out to the developer and after a few emails I finally got a response. They asked for screenshots but didn’t say of what. I screenshot everything and emailed all of the images and haven’t heard anything since. I downloaded “RepeaterBook” for free and I get almost everything I need right from there. I barely ever right these things, but I can’t help but to warn any potential subscribers of what they’re getting themselves into.
  • Inaccurate info, buggy app

I travel a lot, and I find a large number of the repeaters listed are non-functional. There’s much less info than in the ARRL-produced repeater directory. I’ve had several times where the program shows no repeaters at all that has required an un-install and reinstall to fix. Currently, the menu won’t open. All-in-all, a very poor substitute for the classic repeater directory.
  • Does not work.

The program has my location correct, but sometimes it does show near by repeaters, other times it shows no repeater, and other time it shows repeaters that are a thousand miles away as 0.0 miles away. Bad investment is this app.
  • Worst App

Shame on ARRL for endorsing this app. Load time is slow or non existent. Even after reinstalling load time is terrible and I have high speed internet. I have tried via data connection still bad and I had a 5bar signal. When it did load up, it gave me repeaters in Texas. I was in Pasco, WA. Yes I gave the app full access to my location. I have never had a problem with the Repeater Book app and it’s free. RepeaterBook has the same info and is just as up to date. Much better than earlier versions. RF Finder app Not worth $12.99. Don’t waste your money.

I paid to renew but the renewal didn't occur. Since I still had a repeater list, I didn't notice for six months. The seller would not restore the six months I didn't use.
  • Rarely displays repeaters

I downloaded this app because it was endorsed by ARRL but am very dissatisfied. It rarely displays any repeaters.

This app does everything it is supposed to do. Bob is a real asset to the Amateur Radio community. Works flawlessly on the RFinder M1 as well!

I’ve had this app since it was available. I renewed subscription but it still shows expired last year. It won’t restore purchase. App locks up with no repeaters listed. Even the label on the top of the page to do a continental download is misspelled. Only thing that works is it shows my location on the map. Nothing else works.
  • WARNING: Password reset now dead link. Headless App.

Update: The password reset link is now dead. No response from email. Headless dead app. This worked great for a few days, now it won’t display anything from database. No receipt found issue. Real HAM. This app is produced by a company that produces food stamp apps. My subscription could feed a family for as many days as the app actually worked.

This app has a whole list of issues. The shift information is missing. The menu button randomly stops working and you have to force quit the app to fix it. GPS positioning doesn’t seem to work and you have to specify your location manually. The TPE export function does not produce a valid file. Finally, the UI is very amateurishly designed. Very disappointing, This should not have received ARRL approval.
