Great working app. I enjoy the articles and am glad I can read it while traveling.

Content great but 2 stars for app. Update is far worse than previous. If you close this app then go back in to continue reading it not only doesn’t keep track where you left off, it reopens to the apps home page so you have to start over with selecting the issue you were reading (sometimes we all get behind in our reading). Night mode would be great except every time I “turn the page” it comes up as a glaring solid white screen while it takes a couple seconds to download, burning my retinas at night with every page turn. Plus I have an annual subscription so why do I have a subscribe button right next to the download button for every issue. App needs to be cleaned up. Attention to detail lacking.
  • Excellent publication for networkers

I ALWAYS have some at least cursory knowledge of current events because of this magazine. Everyone I know who gets it loves it. I purchased the online version too for when someone borrows my print copy
  • Love magazine but app is unstable

I sometimes can’t get the app to let me read the magazine other than the headers. Not very user friendly. Please get a better app design as I am a digital only reader and need it to work!
  • The Week app is now terrible

Update: Still terrible. You can no longer share articles. Instead it sends a link that says check out this article from the week but when they click on it it just sends them to the App Store instead of actually showing the article you wanted to share. Bait and switch method, total garbage. Still can’t highlight words to look up within articles. Layout is still bad. Looks like a high school yearbook level of professionalism. Very close to canceling subscription. I’m a long time reader of the Week for over 10 years. Before the latest update the app was perfectly fine. Now it’s worse in almost every way. The layout is terrible, you can’t select words to look up on an iPad, it’s harder to navigate, and they took away cool features like being able to see the pin points on the map where stories originated from. It’s like some marketing dudes at the Week said it’s about time for a complete app overhaul, just because! So they changed it for the sake of change while not improving anything. Please go back to the other format.
  • Good content, clunky app

Each update seems to make it harder to read, harder to remain logged in. The latest iteration requires me to reboot each week to recognize my subscription. I only stick with it because I do enjoy reading the content.
  • Good magazine; terrible new app

The new application has ruined my enjoyment of the magazine. It is no longer possible to copy any of the text (which I often did to remember quotes or to tweet articles). It is not possible to save articles to Evernote or to Pocket - it fails to upload or it uploads a link to the App Store. I often saved recipes and book reviews and cannot do either anymore. All of the functions mentioned above are why I subscribe to digital as opposed to print media! I have reached out to support more than once and get no satisfactory responses. I am very aggravated as all of these functions were available in the old app which was, in all respects (including layout and readability) FAR superior. Please get rid of this new app and go back to one that works.
  • App is a disaster

I love the Week magazine and read it every Saturday when it is delivered to my house. The writing and content are excellent and an important part of how I consume news. The app is a complete disaster. About 75% of the time I “download” an issue, only to have the cover show up and nothing else. When I swipe to an article, only the headline shows. It seems like it should be downloading the article text, but in reality nothing happens even when waiting it out for 5 minutes. I will continue to subscribe to the week because the publication is good. But please, please, fix this app.
  • Heading in wrong direction

Most recent version is much less intuitive and clean than previous version. It takes SIX clicks to get to an article. Please fix soon! Love the magazine but not the app!
  • App is broken

Even though I have an active subscription in ITunes it fails to allow me to download an issue. Numerous other major problems keep this app in the running for worst of all time.
