The invasion of the ads! It’s unreliable, crashes often way too many ads it doesn’t update nor load at times.
  • Used to love it, now I had to delete it because of too many ads.

I used to love this app. The ads that appear when you go to close out the radar screen to go back to the forecast screen caused me to delete it. If the ads go, I’ll reinstall it, until then, I’ll use my local stations app.

Used to be a great apps, but now it overheats my iPhone X due to excessive background activity. Audio interface appears on the lock screen, and Battery tab confirms that WU is doing something in the background. Had to delete app to fix the problem.

This used to be my go to weather app. Now it doesn’t load data, loads it super slowly, or forces me to watch tons of video apps.

Used to be a decent app, but has dropped off so much. Just like the Weather Channel app, have to delete this one as well. Doesn’t load half the time, forecasts are inaccurate, and information is just plain wrong a lot. Since Weather Channel bought them, figure they are trying to get rid of Wunderground by making it unusable, and then you get their app. I’ve already deleted Weather Channel app, so I will be going to another company. Dark Sky isn’t free, but it is a great app. I guess ultimately you get what you pay for, and when it is free, you get nothing.
  • Has devolved into buggy adware

This once was my favorite app but recently I have noticed things like close screen buttons that don’t work and when you try to animate satellite map it fails to do anything. No visible cloud maps, just IR. What happened??

This used to be the go-to app for weather. It isn’t anymore. I have my “home” location set to report my PWS (personal Weather Station), KCABUELL4. But the GPS doesn’t know where I am so it reports a PWS a mile away. It doesn’t even know where I am even when I tell it where I am! The reporting is acccurate as best I can tell, but that is dependent on the PWS equipment doing the reporting. My PWS is an Acurite 5-in-1 that is calibrated properly, but the data I submit to Weather Underground gets lost all the time. I realize that this is a free service, but it isn’t properly maintained or updated.
  • Overall Great App. 😀

This is by far the worst weather app. EVER!! RadarScope and Accuweather are by far the best, just my opinion. Not even worth the time it takes to download this garbage. The weather channel has really dropped the ball on their apps. Get with Accuweather and get some pointers.

I loved Wunder map until recently. Now you get locked into some advertising I can’t get out of it. I am done with it and I’m sad to say that.
