  • Wish I could get my money back

I had a very frustrating experience with this app. It allowed me to edit the pdf file as I required but when I went to send the edited file back none of the changes were saved. It was very embarrassing to say the least since it was a professional document. I figured buying a subscription would help and it did not. Now I’m out $24 just to not use the app and the subscription was charged for the whole year a big waste of time and money hopefully no one else will ever share the same experience.

Great app but there seems to be some features missing as it’s a mobile app, like keeping the screen on while reading a file.

The developer advertises this as $2 a month subscription and proceeds to charge the annual subscription price of $23.99. Very misleading and I would not have tried the paid version had it been more apparent full price is charged. I expect Adobe to be more forthright than this!!!!!

I’ve need an app that could do text editing, import PDFs, work with work and help with overall work. I downloaded this app and it has been not stop grief sense then. Adobe apparently doesn’t recognize iOS devices and doesn’t work or sync with them. But the cherry on the top of this cake is they multiple email address for my name. Which is very confusing considering I only have two. When I asked there “ customer support” about it the replied by telling me they needed to respect the identities of those individuals. What!!!! Those individuals are using my account!! I’m now contacting the FTC and reporting the whole entire mess as identify theft. Happy Tuesday. What a bunch of bananas
  • I just lost all my highlighted text.

The pdf I was reading closed when I didn’t want it to. It lost my highlights from 702 pages of studying...... a heavy scientific text I had carefully opened in acrobat for its comment, highlights potential. I’m so mad.

  • Errors moving files or trying to create a new folder

Update for Dylan 5/19/19: The files I’m working with are in adobe’s document cloud. I can’t drop any files in there without errors, I can’t move any files in or out of folders inside of adobe’s document cloud in adobe acrobat, and I can’t create any new folders from within adobe’s document cloud in adobe acrobat without getting a red error at the bottom of the screen. My original files came from Apple’s “Files” and used to work just fine. Previous Review: ‘With the latest update I get errors each time I move files or folders or try to create a new folder. Can’t even do basic things.

What can I say. Been using this for years. I really appreciate that fact that I can fill and sign my PDFs directly in Adobe Reader rather than in the separate Fill and Sign app.

I like Adobe but Acrobat and their support are horrible. I bought the Acrobat Pro DC pack subscription but the iPad app is inferior to PDF Expert. Editing in Acrobat is not a match to the desktop version so onward to the Win10 version I get included an my $25 a month subscription. I regret installing it and uninstalling my older version. Font management has moved backwards. I can edit faster without hunting down fonts in PDF Expert than Acrobat. But that ability was only recently added by the devs at Readdle who actually respond to support requests. Compare with me on Adobe's website for an hour trying to find out why my software won't authenticate and says 7day trial and being passed along to 3 different people in chat who did nothing to fix it. Bottom line - use an older version of mac/pc Acrobat or PDF Expert and don't experiment with this unless you have time to waste. Adobe Fill is awesome but they dropped the ball here.

Adobe Reader has many good features. The comment features are very helpful. The one glaring lack is the ability to place a bookmark in a document. This really limits the usefulness of the app for reading and analyzing longer documents or books.
