Men’s Health Magazine App Reviews

  • Attempt to upgrade

    By long time MH subscriber
The original app years ago was better. MH attempt to “upgrade” = total fail. Don’t know how much reviews they have had in the past with original version that said hey change it. Sometimes if it ain’t broke don’t fix. Anyways I’ve cancelled my subscription
  • This app is one of the worst

    By Fun times dad
There seems to be no way to read the magazine in a normal phone or iPad reading view like you can on ZINIO. You have to pinch and zoom anytime you want to read a part of a page.
  • DO NOT BUY Men’s Health!!! They won’t cancel my subscription!!

    By kenwineo2017
I have tried to cancel this rip off Subscription and each time they tell me it’s been canceled they keep billing me year after year. I am going to report this to the attorney general in the Better Business Bureau. I’m sick and tired of being ripped off by something I’ve canceled and they keep billing me every year. Do not buy men’s health unless you want to pay a subscription fee for the rest of your life.
  • Absolutely Terrible Now

    By Pjcloninger
I have been a subscriber for years and primarily read using the app. This has to be one of the worst “upgrades” I have seen in all my apps. The new layout looks like a magazine in a web browser. If I wanted to read articles on the web, I wouldn’t subscribe to a magazine. That new “modern” table of contents is useless. I just love endlessly scrolling through tiny squares hoping I’ll see a tiny glimpse of what I was looking for. The saving grace before was the ability to still see the PDF magazine, which stayed true to the print version, but, you guessed it, that’s gone too. This app is a complete abomination. I can’t believe is has 1.5 stars.
  • Fix the App

Instead of apologizing to each complaint, fix the app. If everyone is complaining, it's the app or poor design. If no one can figure out how to use the app, it's the poor design. I just deleted the app after three tries, because it doesn't explain how to transfer my paper version to paperless. It tells me it can't find my Zip Code, clearly the app has an issue. I'll stick to the paper version that I can read.
  • Horrible waste of money

    By haroldanddawn
For two months speaking to the help desk which is no help at all. Cannot save any articles, cannot do anything! Last advise I received was “ to read online and save articles to read offline” ..I’m reading on iPad with unlimited data, what’s the purpose of even having an app!! Paid for the app subscription;wish I was able to get a refund
  • Worst. App. Ever.

    By tcwin63
One again the brain dead at men’s health decide to change the format of their app. Now it’s impossible to read. It’s looks like they just got lazy and scanned every page into a pdf file and shoved it into a crappy app. You have to pinch and zoom each individual paragraph on a page just to have any attempt to read it. Epic fail.
  • The app is a poor user experience

    By Drugola
This app is terrible. It doesn’t compare to British GQ in its presentation. The pdf version is too basic and the default version looks like a junior web developer project. It’s horrible change it back to what it used to be before. No one likes this version.
  • New App Terrible

    By zpc75
Here are my issues: 1. In text view, some content is not available. 2. There’s no way to save my place so I can continue reading where I left off. 3. The PDF version is much better but it’s too small. The old app mimicked the experience of reading the actual print magazine so much better. The new design misses the mark badly. Please go back to the old design.
  • New Magazine Format

    By ljm52886
The new format is impossible to deal with. I have to zoom in to each page and it never remembers where I left off. Please go back to the old style!
