  • Better than my fitness pal

    By Ploskd
Rarely do I upgrade to paid apps but this app is so well done so comprehensive and the support team so responsive that I just decided I really wanted to. Great for keto diet!
  • What about folate?

    By patyshaulis
I think this is or could be an amazing app. However, I keep falling short on folate even though I eat several cups of leafy greens every day. Just one cup of spinach is supposed to provide you with 65% of your folic acid but when I enter my brand, I keep getting 0% which makes me question the accuracy of the numbers. All web searches contradict what this app is doing in terms of folate. Why?
  • Way better than MyFitnessPal

Relatively easy to use, covers all bases when it comes to your vitamins and minerals. The ability to access the app from your laptop is awesome too. All in all, Cronometer is a great fitness and nutrition application that I would recommend to anybody.
  • Love it but wish it had multi users

    By DanaTrue
Cronometer is awesome! I use it regularly to make sure my family is getting the nutrients we need on or Whole Food Plant Based diet. However, being a mom with two small children (who do not have email accounts yet) it’s a real pain to have to keep entering and reentering all of our information. I know that another account can be set up for each kid - but even then I’d need to toggle back and forth between accounts by signing in and out. To truly make it user friendly - please consider adding multiple profiles to one account. I’d definitely then give it the whole 5 stars. I lost patience and interest in the app after a could days because it’s so tedious.
  • No offline access

Switched to this app from MFP earlier this year and mostly think it’s an improvement. It’s kind of ridiculous that the app can’t be opened without an internet connection. Would be a 5/5 if not for this inconvenience.
  • One major flaw

    By CrazyLegs43
This app is very effective at tracking your nutrition/macros, but as someone who uses it extensively and daily, there is a glaring flaw. They do not give the user the freedom to work on a given day at their full discretion. EVERY day this happens to me: I’ll be filling in some detail late at night, and I’ll need to go check the nutritional value of something, and come back to my application, and the time will have passed into the next day, just after midnight, and the app will force forward me to the new day. This happens to me in the morning as well. The first thing I want to do is copy a few items from the previous day and paste them into my new day. By default, even if I had a previous day open that I was working on, the app will forward to the new day automatically. This is User Experience 101 — you don’t force the user around an application. P.S. To the developer, how about a toggle button in settings, to make the force-forwarding optional? Thanks. P.P.S. To the developer’s latest response: I can just reiterate that it goes against good UX principles to force a user contrary to the selection they’ve already made—in my case, the selection to add items to a given day I’ve. As example, last night, I had something to eat after midnight; I had to come back to the app about 5 times, to add various items. EACH time I was forced into the new day and had to manually go back—just a horrible user experience. As a test, I opened Calendar on the iPhone and went 6 days back. I typed this comment and then went back to the Calendar. I was not forced to the new day—because logic, and UX best practices, concludes I chose that day on purpose because I want to be on that day. I think giving the user an option to choose via a toggle button would be best: those who would rather not be forced forward could choose not to be. Thanks.
  • Can’t get past sign up screen!

    By CudaCutie
I downloaded the app after hearing that it was more accurate than others. Tried many times to sign up/log in. It just kept returning me to the start of the signup process again, even after saying my login had been a success! No verification emails came or anything. Gave up after messing with it for like 15 min.
  • Don’t waste your time

Will not save any foods for adding later... you must type the food each time every day The developer response came several weeks too late, app has been deleted
  • Great macro tracker

    By Smileycarr
I am generally happy with the app and it is great because I do Keto and I can customize my macros to keto. The main thing that bothers me is that when I enter my own recipe I can set how many servings there are for the recipe, but then when I log the food, the options are “entire recipe” or “serving”. I have dozens of recipes entered and I can’t remember what I set as the serving size for each recipe. It would be very helpful if the serving size could be indicated next to “serving” or maybe have a link to the recipe so you can easily see what the serving size is. It is not very intuitive or fast to go back into the recipe to see many servings are in each recipe. Hopefully the developers can take this into consideration.
  • The best out there

I think this is the best app for a keeping track of your nutrition. I absolutely recommend this to everyone. Also, thanks for updating the screen :).
