Just joined the Y mostly for swimming and I was constantly having to look through websites trying to remember hours and group classes. You can view all the SA locations.

I am a member of the New Braunfels YMCA and this is a great app for finding exercise classes. It is intuitive, concise and informative. Here is why it does not get five stars: 1. All of the app's features are not functional yet (pool schedule, programs, etc.) 2. You cannot add an event from the app to iCal (should get an "Add to iCal" popup by tapping the class) 3. The buttons for switching among time, class and month views are so close to the "Hours" and "Settings" buttons at the bottom, that it is easy to bump the wrong one (I have already done this about 5 times in the first 2 minutes of having this app). It is free and makes finding classes easier than the YMCA website, so it gets three stars.

If you have a page to show facility status -- PLEASE USE IT. On days when inclement weather threatens the use of outdoor facilities, I'd love to check the app to see whether the fields are open. It's now February 2012 and the last update on that page was in September 2011. Don't include features in your app that you won't support. How hard is that? September 2012 update: Still no change. This is a worthless app.

i'm in the NB branch and i think its agreat idea to have the schedules in app form. everyone walks around the gym with there phones out anyway, haha! and its agreat way to get the younger, me tech savy, generation involved.
  • One star for now

Just downloaded app and it didn't do anything it says it does. Hopefully this app gets fixed, I was looking forward to using it.
