Complete Knot List at: KNOTS 3D REVIEWS ---------------------- Superb in every way - 5 Stars! I'm a fairly handy guy (surgeon) and rely on several knots in my practice. Nevertheless I'm pretty hopeless at learning new knots and remembering them, even though I'm a sailor and do some fishing. Knots 3D is the answer. I love every aspect of the app. Great App - 5 Stars! I really like this app, I have four knot apps, and I use this one the most. As a firefighter rope skills is a must and this app helps keep me "knot prepared". The zoom and step through the knot using a finger gestures is real handy. The author updates this app with new knots often. I recommend this app.

  • It’s Ok. 3D Helps

    By MuleEar
I was a little disappointed overall. Thought I would learn a little more from this app. The knots are never finished, and no opinion, recommendation, or detail on tightening the knot. Yes you just pull it, but no direction whether you pull the tag or standing part, or tips to ensure the knot lays correctly. Knot slips, lose big fish, no big deal. Knot slips, lose person or property, big deal. Be helpful if you could reverse demos as well.
  • Very handy app. Thanks for the great work

  • My go-to for knots

    By KnottyPines
I have many knot books, including the Ashley Book of Knots, but this app is what I always go to. It has most every knot I need and the library is constantly expanding. The animations are simple, detailed, and easy to follow. One of the most important things for me about this app is that I can use it offline, so when I am out fishing or hunting with no signal, I still have my library of knots.

I was never great at learning or remembering how to tie knots, other than on my shoelaces. This is an great go-to aid with easy to follow animations that you can speed up or slow down.

There are so many knots shown in this app, for every type of use, and reading the history behind them is an added bonus. You can spend hours watching the videos and practicing your knot tying skills! Kudos to the devs for this super app!
  • Easiest knot app

    By TEEMACK1219
Just download the app and go! Unlike other knot apps, this one is ready to use when you open it. Other app, you have individually download each knot which can be a pain (especially if your say, out in the woods and have no internet). All the knots are free, so you you don’t have to “upgrade to the pro version” to get the knot you need (I personally believe that all app that that do that should be obligated to call themselves the lite version). The animation is smooth and you can control the speed. Does it have as many knots as other apps? No. But it’s beautifully designed, works offline, easy to use and free.
