LINE App Reviews

  • good app but many bugs

    By samlin1
Line has lots of cute and funny stickers, but the app has many problems. For one, the sticker suggestion feature makes it difficult to type. Every other word will be laggy as sticker suggestions show up. Recently, I've found another flaw where there is a long buffer period until I can use the app. Namely, the app will display the load screen, then the passcode prompt, and would not register any passcode hits for a long time. The lag has been very annoying; a chatting application should not and does not need a complicated code, and therefore should not experience lags like this. Right now I cannot open Line because it does not allow me to enter my passcode. I am only able to see notifications. UPDATE: i've contacted app support and received a reply message. that's it. i guess they are "currently investigating" the issue. a startup bug like this should be easy to identify, and should not taken a professional more than a couple hours to find and fix. really want to delete the app but i have pictures saved on there

When I did the last update my line suddenly stopped . Any advice or solution please
  • Still crashes.

    By Markolw
They supposedly fixed the crash issue with the last update, but they haven’t. The app crashes and I have to re-login every time I try to open the app on my iPad. My phone is fine. And yes, both the app and iOS are up to date.
  • Request, Please Do It!!

Please allow us to use the stickers we buy on LINE using other apps. Make a “Line stickers keyboard” or something like that. I really enjoy using the stickers, and I want to have them with me all the time. So please make this available as a keyboard on phones.
  • Help!

    By Gt: the legacy
With my passcode lock I can’t even open the app
  • So let me get this straight...

By Ih8yahoomail can only recover your password once you’re inside the Line app? How are you supposed to enter the app if you’ve forgotten your password? Stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
  • Customizable!

I love how much I can customize themes and the amount of stickers there is! I love it!

I installed Line to communicate with guild members of a mobile game. It took me all of 6 minutes to hate this app more than Nazis and cancer. The stickers thing is fine if you are 8. Over the age of 9 and it’s just sad. The suggested text replacement looks like something an idiot designed. Not just any idiot. I mean the type of idiot that would want to pursue political science as a college major. Then, there is the iPad issues. It affects every iPad (FOUR of them) I’ve tried it on. If I am not actively in Line on an iPad, it forces me to login again. If I don’t login, I still get notifications and can see the conversation text in the notification preview. Then, my iPad tells me that Line wants to delete my login credentials. In case you think that denying Line from deleting your login credentials will work, I will regretfully inform you it does NOT. I guess it’s a feature. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Battery life is DRASTICALLY affected by this app. I have an iPhone X and I had to remove it. My battery life went from 2 days to less than 1 with this app running. This app is so bad that the guild was easily convinced to move to something that doesn’t look like it was based on an ICQ build from 1997. What else is Line missing? - Manage notifications for channels. It’s all or nothing and you have to manage it from the device system settings - Full chat history, even for new members - Editing messages - Adequate GIF integration - An interface that looks like it’s been updated....ever - Not feeling like you want to destroy a basket full of fluffy corgi puppies to manage the stress level of using the Line mobile app Your app is bad and you should feel bad. Line gets a F -

This new update was supposed to fix the startup issue that I didn’t have. After the update I now have the startup issue and Line will not open.

I love line and all but it messes a lot of things , it is so simple like the first social media app in the world , it needs more things to spice things up , first when u post something and want to tag friends I wish my friends list show to me than writing the names it will be easier and faster , second we wish we get more free stickers only little amount is free , third we wish we can send pics in the comments section it will be fun ,we also wish when we add someone you get friends suggestions that will make it more easier to make friends and better than needing the ID Or the phone number also from time to time to send us friends suggestions that have the same interest like us , we wish you will add games or something to entertain us when we are not talking and groups for different things to chat . Also we wish u add more fields in the information so we can know the person more , and we wish the posts doesn’t show in straight line , can u make it more like Instagram it is faster to go around profiles like that , also U make the most popular hashtag , try to mix app a little bit from what app to Instagram to Facebook and Snapchat and I am sure you will beat all the other apps I wish you do these things and the app will get better reviews
