This app is fantastic! Great way to see where the best “as seen on TV” food is on a trip. I’ve already saved some locations that my family and I will be trying on our 1,500 mile road trip this summer! ! ! The only negative is there is s limited number of searches allowed before the $2.99 upgrade is required. Small price to pay to find the food that has left me salivating in HD!

Old info. Restaurant listed closed several years ago.

The map is crap. The locations are there, but the functionality is hot garbage.
  • Big step backward from DD&D

For years I used the DD&D app from MapMuse. Unfortunately, it has fallen into disrepair, not being updated for 64-bit iPhones. It had map views, list views, search capability, and links to the actual TV episodes. Also, ‘my lists’ - favorites, visited, and bucket - and the ability to share photos and reviews. It had great ergonomics and its use was very intuitive. Wish TVFoodMaps was even remotely as good. Willing to give it 2 stars only because it doesn’t crash.
  • Great and needed but lacks UI intuition

This app is a necessity for any road trip, it has nice map now, I wish it would take the whole screen though. The map doesn’t search as you scan through the areas with your fingers. I wish it was like TripAdvisors map feature where you get a full screen map with the pointers through out and popping as you move the map around. Where only one relevant items shows, some filters would be nice so that certain TV shows hide and show as one prefers... it still needs work. But so far is doing great, better than it was, I didn’t feel bad paying the $3
  • Great, could be way better

Love this app & use it often as a road warrior for great eats while on the road. The map feature, searching along a route and filtering all need substantial improvement. Fix the functionality & keep the content & this is a 5 Star!
  • Free app has lots of restrictions

Pros: Great reference app. List the TV show and brief description of the food establishment. Fast search. Links to website. Cons: Free app limits number of searches. Too many invasive ads. Does not tell you what was featured on the respective shows. No filters by TV show. Zooming in and out or moving around map uses up free searches.
  • Closed places and no way to notify

The first restaurant that came up has been closed for years. I tried to find a way to put a notice that it closed and there is none. Call ahead before going to any restaurant on this app.

Not only is this the most comprehensive food map list I found in the App Store, but I can't understand how I ever traveled without it! The fantastic selections, into an interface, and ability to find just the right place for me is bar none the best I've ever seen! Forget any other review you've ever read that says this isn't "worth your time", this is the ultimate foodie at experience and you won't be disappointed

Any time I go to use the app it just constantly tells be an unknown error has occurred. I travel for work weekly around the country and liked the app when it did work.
